Yeah, the VOD is up (Part IV)She is streaming again
Eeek, I missed that one. That's mostly for people wanting to keep playing past the end of content.. just jump past the official end point and you can keep playing. Then when you want to go back to the story sequence again, just jump back to the original day again, and continue playing. It's not super clean, but it was a 5 minute fix for a common request. She had me worried when she changed day to 10, thought it would throw the timing off, but now not sure what it controls
Yeah, that makes sense. I did like the in-universe nod to the idea that PCs, as a general rule, get stronger faster than NPCs (i.e. the old joke in D&D about how NPC wizards are wizened elders while a PC wizard can hit 10th level before he's 30), but it would make a little more sense in a game where there was more required combat.Canonically I'm assuming that people are spending a lot of time fighting in Elsewhere; I'm not enforcing that in the story (because I want people to be able to play the game in whatever way makes them happy), but there are elements where Emily tells you that all of you are growing too strong, too quickly, from what is happening in Elsewhere. Which is of course a little silly when you're still level 2, but...
MC did indeed screw up by the numbers in Act III, you just haven't seen that particular bird come home to roost yet. That's a balance you strike pretty well at first in this, where the PC is impressively clueless a lot of the time, and is a prodigy in a sort of relatable way; he's all potential, no book-learning, in a situation where the book-learning is the important part. I just think it tips over the edge in the last hour or so. I'd imagine it's an even harder row to hoe in a video game, let alone one that's a sort of porny isekai.
That being said, I love that this is a game where you can actually have this discussion. In 90% of the field, the problems you'd have would be "was translated into English by a drunken monkey" or "was made with stolen assets by someone who doesn't know how sex works."
You're never seeing anyone in the shop because you rewind First time there's nobody, second time there's somebody, third time there's nobody, 4th time there's somebody.Like her, I did cheat the money, but haven't changed the stats. Although I do do the semi cheat of shower, no stat change, rewind to start of talk, shower, ... until I get CHR+1. Since I haven't seen anyone to talk to in the coffee shop.
Hahaha, well it did not feel like MC screwed up so much as was just to trusting and a nice guy overall, though I guess someone will be quite pissed off by the happenings at ending of Chapter 3 and not only MC .MC did indeed screw up by the numbers in Act III, you just haven't seen that particular bird come home to roost yet.
I liked Iron Druid. I would say another Urban Fantasy that had a lot of influence was Changeling Bloood. As you say, Harry Dresden has an amazingly fun universe that takes longer to get started (and then the author went MIA when it came to super-scale time). Part of the dream here was always that power-levels would hit 9000 in Book 2, so I need to set the ground level for it.
It's interesting that you bit into the Lake, because I saw it as kinda spent at that point. It was a place where I wanted MC to go and chill with girls in bikinis (and I needed Nimue gone, since I didn't want a lot of back and forth between her and Emily); the power is already gone, transferred to the Mantle. But I guess it is kinda invaluable. Though MC won't ever get to sell it, so it's a bit like owning a derelict castle in Northern Scotland.
It's still somewhat WIP. There's the problem that I'm a solo dev, and tuning VFX properly just takes time (and some skills I don't have). I doubt I'll ever be truly satisfied with them, but hopefully they'll better illustrate the gameplay and help people understand what's going on.nice effects
no, the apk deleted already but fear not i download from it.cio and it work.Could you get me a screenshot? Without the specific phrasing, Google will not be my friend in discovering what is going on.
Nonetheless, I do love how this game is improving with each update, so much that I can feel how much passion you put into this (honestly I thought that this game was created by game studio and, at least a medium one at that) by the way when we do you think you will finish and post the next update? I'm not trying to stress you up, especially since the last update was like 4 days ago but I can't wait to see what will happen to Emily and Katie (other characters too but the end of the act 3 put most of the attention on those 2 characters and Thorman), also what about the Mother? I mean MC didn't contact her whatsoever so far and it would be a shame if she stayed as irrelevant character from narrative point of view (I'm not saying to make her a harem member but she needs more screen time)It's still somewhat WIP. Possible when during the coffee you also read about the 1/3 of a book or do other things ... (not going to spoil lol )It's really annoying how it goes from Morning to Evening every time. I mean I drink a cup of coffee and that takes from morning til evening?
I *think* I got the 1st one of those yesterday. It's with testers now, I may push out a mini update if the fix holds, just with VFX + updated poker mechanics + bug fixes. Two problems with OSX version:
1. It seems like the text from others speaking is regularly clipped so you don't see the whole text.
2. Somewhere in the middle of the latest release it no longer displays any options for saving the game. The Save/Load page has no save button, and the main display has a grayed out quick save button.
