I've completed the game on normal, not ng+ over a year ago, is there anything actually worth it in ng+?

it adds quite a bit to the story as well as at least one new storyline.
FYI it's quite common for a FULL playthru to be 1,2,3,1NG+,2NG+, and 3NG+.......i enjoy it.
There's a fair chunk of new content, especially if you defeated Hel in the optional Book 3 questline. It also adds a bit of additional storylines, and changes a lot of dialog.

On steam? Sounds like steamcloud hates you. Properties, disable steamcloud. All the saves made locally are backed up to a non-steamcloud folder (C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Droid Productions\LOMBackup) precisely because I've seen it break like that before.

Can you check if it's saving correctly for you? Could you get me a player.log file (same place as the saves).

That's... weird. It's using 1.1.9d, not 1.1.9b (the version that should be here), and it still has the Steam SDK active; by the looks of it it's crashing hard at load.
The 1.1.9b version here should be fine, there's no meaningful change (some tweaks to images with black background, mostly). I'll give it a download and see if there's an issue with it.

Downloading it now, I'll check it out. This one's definitely not a build that should be here, it's still got SteamSDK installed (which will bomb out when it fails to find the game on your steam account).
