The girls look amazing, but I just can't get behind the 3 protagonists. The only time I like multiple protagonist is if its the Husband/Wife or similar type setups with Male/Female multiple protagonists.

So it sucks that this is 3 characters we have to control, otherwise I would of been interested. But I wish the dev luck regardless, maybe a future game of his will interest me more.

And if all Li's are available to all three protagonists, is it theoretically NTR since one protagonist could steal the women from another? Then one protagonist could pee on the other. I hope each protagonist has their own Li's and that there are no overlaps, but to be honest, I don't see a great future for it. Multiple protagonists are usually a bad idea. Will there be three different stories, or does it all take place in the same location, like the same city, the same school, or whatever? I think he said in discord that each MC has a set of LIs, I don't really care much about those potential NTR, but it feel like a logistic nightmare for a dev to make all the path, the lesson of Stormside is still there

So its chronological, you play as MC 1 do their story, then MC 2 and play their story, then play as MC3 and their story. Its like a 3 stories rolled into one, one after the other.

Playing three main characters is a bit of a hassle. In my opinion, the developer should stick to one main character. Otherwise, players will be pulled out of the story three times because they suddenly have to play a different guy with different women. And what if I like the first three women better, and then I have to play a different guy and can't interact with the women I like anymore? That gives me a bad feeling. well the change wont be sudden, also youll still be interacting with them, just not sexually. Also the game is called 'love strikes thrice', SO it only makes sense. In a way the whole game has the 'thrice' mechanic to it. 3 love interests per MC, three mc's, 3 archs. 3 sets of 3


Edit: Like i said before, the MC's know each other and are in each others stories, in fact the LI's are in each arch. For example the first 2 are friends, and lived together for a time. As the description says one is the VP of the student council, who is friends with the second MC and you often see the second MC in this episode. SO it stands to reason that you would also still see the LI from the first MC as the second MC since they are friends and know similar people.

The third mc is also known by the other 2 MC's SOO yea you will see your favorite LI even when doing the story or arch o the others WAY later on.


When i say arch i dont mean a simple chapter. The archs arent confirmed how long they are BUT from what i do know about the game, there will be AT LEAST7k renders for the first arch, but in reality probably most likely A LOT more than that so you being worried about it being sudden, it wont be. Cant tell you exact numbers BUT like i said its quite large.

To quote the dev originally Chapter 1 Reno had planed to do 7K to 8K renders BUT decided to release early so that the fans wernt waiting a year for chapter 1 (not arch 1 but chapter 1)

I had to re edit my post so take a look at that and that will answer your 'worries' As for the issue of it being over early. Well if worse case you dont enjoy second or third archs LI and the story then consider each arch a separate game in the same universe. If you dont like them then no loss cause you already got a game out of it

Q: Why three protagonists instead of one? You should stick to just one.

Because it's called Love Strikes Thrice, not Love Strikes (Just the one time)

Each MC has their own set of LIs. While the entire cast might interact with each other, LIs and MCs stick to their respective groups and won't get involved sexually.

Q: Aren't you overburdening yourself with doing multiple protagonists and LIs?

No, because realistically I'd only be working on one MC, and three LIs at any given time considering the Act structure.

Also, the writing/script is way more ahead than you think. Major plot points have already been planned out as early as 2023. I already know how I'll end it. It's just that the rendering only started in 2025, but no, I'm not making things up as I go.

Q: Is this gonna be a harem?

No, but you could see it as a pseudo-harem from the player's perspective. While the MCs are monogamous, you, the player who controls all three MCs can romance up to 3 LIs in a single playthrough. That's three times more than you could pick on your average non-harem game.

Q: Future tags?

Well, you already know there's no NTR, there won't be any other extreme ones either. In every second act of each MC, there will be a higher concentration of LI scenes since that's where things start to get serious in their relationships.

So expect a good variety of tastes, and also a way to opt out of it if it doesn't suit you. (There won't be a button toggle, more like weaved into the dialogue decisions.)

In simple terms, it's really just 3 MCs played chronologically: MC 1, then MC 2, lastly MC 3's story. Each MC has 3 LIs they can pursue (9 in total).

Each MC has 3 acts to their story. Act 1 is the common route, Act 2 is the relationship route, Act 3 is a shorter one, and really just an epilogue.

Q: Is there any way you could do Y instead of X?

I made this game as a response to my need of X, as I thought there's already too many Y's.

There are so many games in this space, and you're not restricted to playing just one. I, myself, follow multiple games at a time of varying genres and tastes. There's no reason you can't do that as well.
