It's a really interesting concept. I like the AI text, and it's kinda fun to take it down different paths and 'chat'. It's a huge leap, but it would be great to have that more 'tied in' to the rest of the game though, hopefully that's on the roadmap.. Taking the interpretations from the chat and applying them to the 3D models and scenes seems like a worthy, if ambitious target.. ask them to do something and have the actual model respond in kind (same if they 'volunteer').

The disconnect between the text of *takes whatever action* descriptions happening while the 3D world just goes on as normal... it'd be nice to see those synched up somehow.

The characters also need to have a memory.. I had the server at the Chinese food shop screaming at me to get out and never come back, clicked 'exit' to leave the conversation, hit 'E' to start a new one and she says "Hi! nice to see you, what brings you to town?"

But a solid foundation and a good concept. Keep at it!

I appreciate your review. I would like to know more about what you mean by chat connect more with the world? If you give a example that would be helpful. What did you say to the server to make her so mad, lol.

It seems like at the moment at least, there's the chat engine in there, but it's basically disconnected from the rest of the game. You can have a conversation and things are described in it with asterisks in the text... ok, we're talking sex games here.. something like *she takes off her top*, but the model is still standing there idle. I'm sure it's not an easy thing to do, but having the model actually perform that action would be 'next level' kinda stuff. I'm not sure what you're using 'under the hood' for your LLM incorporation, but if you take a look for an example at what Stable Diffusion does with Controlnet and Openpose in a 2D space, maybe something similar could be done in generating or manipulating the 3D models.


In a similar vein, I had a conversation with the stepmother, started out with a "what's new?"... said I'd met someone, which was greeted with enthusiasm and a "tell me all about her!"... it would be quite the thing to turn that into the actual 'girlfriend experience', and have the system actually generate an NPC out there that matches your description (physically and personality)

Like I said - I don't doubt that's a challenge to implement, but it'd be a hell of a thing.


As to the server.... well, let's just say she asked to go get a drink later on, which turned into "why wait, isn't there somewhere private we can go now?" and when she showed me to the back room, things escalated a little quicker than she apparently was comfortable with ;)

11GB is a lot for a unity game, also I think this game should be a little more optimized I have decent specs for an all around pc but this game is way too hard on my hardware. I can't even play the game because of the constant lag. Can this game be optimized a bit?

Optimization is at the top of my list for the next update. You do need a high end computer to run this build. I am trying to figure out the minimum requirement. The AI chat model is a new system introduce in this build and still in its early stages so is the game. This is game is in development and not a full complete game yet.

Why is 11 GB "Lot" ?
It is not.
Not in this times. Textures, Models, Animations...
if you think that 11 GB is a lot to much, what is about for example: GTA, or other Games ? RDR II ? Hogwards ? Cyberpunk ?
They 100... GB and more.

... ?
this is not the Point i see any problem.
my Builds are ~ 30 gb. this time. Also unity. you cant do smaller, because it s content inside ?

My unity Master Project, have a 280 GB Size.
Only the build are just 30 GB.

so ~ yes, unity CAN Handle this.
To set a Massage for you:
"unreal" can "handle" such things to, with 10 000 Crashes, and Loading times up to ~ 15 Minutes
for 1 Level.

(unity can do the same, loading time is ~ 1 minute max, for a 400 000 GameObjects Complex Level)

... the ONLY advences unreal have, are:
- (this time ) Licences,
- better art Design in Store. This is truly a +.
- and an Epic, put a huge amount of MOney inside, this is all.

Technical ?
- Lumen.

not just nanite is such a big advence. Because: you will always need Lods, and other things.
Do not go "confiusing" only just of "Youtube" Videos or something. This is just not right.
Unity, is a very good engine!
it have it s disadventages.

but the biggest Difference for a Solo Dev for Example is the point:
if you not have millions of $, you wont work with Unreal, not really.
For each small Step you do, you will need up to 10x so much Time like in Unity.

also not known to unreal:
- model live import
- humanoid Rigs,
- default Schaders,
- Live Compilition.
- pre compiled Schaders

and to be serious: (really) the "Animation System" of Unreal, is such massivly big Stoneage, that i just like to watch
"unreal Animation Toturials" for commedy. Last time, they celebrate the "bone Riddle System" for Retargeting.

A can press on any button, i can turn around, i can move, i can move and press in the main menu but not on any button ingame. What's the button?

Edit. the bald and naked character only happens with the 8th hair style.

Also, the save and load buttons don't work, I have to restart the game with each session.

Thanks this is great feedback. All these issues I will fix in the next update Build 8 which I am currently working on.

I am aware of the second image because another user brought it to my attention. I will have to tweak the model. It might have something to do with the level of the relationship with the NPC, I know I programmed the AI to be less restrictive as you level up your relationship with them. However, I was hoping the AI would reject advances normally and be less robotic.

Again, excellent feedback. I'll be fixing these issues in the next update. Please feel free to message me about suggestions or issues you run into.

Okay, enlighten me. What AI model are you running in here that's special and unique that it justifies taking up almost ALL of your "games" requirement?

Edit - Would also like to add, I've been working in the 3D sector for a very, very long time now. I think I know what I'm talking about. But, you do you.

Second Edit - I'd also like to state that, for a "Game Developer" I find it highly amusing that you chose to use Stable Diffusion for your Patreon channel images, as opposed to rendering something yourself in any of the freely available rendering engines out there... lol.

Maybe you need to learn alot more about AI and LLM's not just 3d graphics! And while your at it maybe update your SSD or m.2 Storage. If your computer can handle it just say no and move on.

Sorry to hear it man, I don't want you to keep dealing with it anymore. I can't please everyone. If my game didn't work for you this time, I'm sorry.
Forget These people that do not have a clue about AV false positives or what it is like to find the kind of LLM, you want in your game. They just dont have enough brains to comprehend that they do not know it all!
