As a general rule, it's a bad idea to show a man other than MC having sex; especially if the woman involved is a potential love interest. That statement is even more true in an incest game.

I would not worry so much about the artwork right now. Summertime Saga has some strange looking characters and has over 30,000 patrons.

Those are not really ntr games they have optional ntr. By optional meaning that it doesn't happen if you don't want it.

Low patreon numbers is most part the norm for overwhelming majority of the games in all honesty regardless of content - the ones that do well though in porn do REALLY FUCKING WELL. Thats the issue - you always see "why compared to DrPinkCake" etc.
As for NTR its also as a premise almost always optional and too often its literally sharing or swinging and not NTR in the first place. Devs should just make what they wanna make and stick to their vision i say. As for Power Vacuum (i am a patreon) his support BALOONED after offering fans the choice of what NTR scenes to add in not the opposite - WWG would tell you that himself and has done so several times in the games thread as i recall. As such when you say "players were having a fit" i assume you mean "people who were pirating the game and not supporting it financially" which is the core of the argument your presenting here.
At the end of the day 1000 people backing for a dollar a month is no more or less impressive than a mere hundred backing ten dollars a month. Thats why i rarely look too much into those numbers unless the devs are showing their backing in dollars vs patreon followers.

I thought this was another side-story/What if? from What?Why?Games for awhile since it looks like the game the mom from Power Vacuum shows/plays with the MC.

In my case, if the MC is the son / brother and the sister / daughter inevitably has sex with the father, the game isn't going to interest me.
