It has been a recurring criticism. Honestly, I was passionate about adding a bit of shonen and martial arts to Yui's story to develop the female cast, but I guess I'm not connecting with most players sooo welp... my bad. I've been thinking about rushing through that part of the story.
Time will tell...
For now, I'm working on other stories and will put that part on hold.
At least what comes from Charlotte, Maxy, Layla, and Prim has much more erotic content.

It's kind of hard to say. When I first discovered this I got into it pretty quickly. But that was years ago. Now when I occasionally come back to it, hoping (in vain) that there will be a lot of new content for the characters I am interested in since the last time I played, it strikes me more and more as kind of... dated?
The art is probably the biggest area where I notice this, it was cool when it was new, but now there are a lot of other games that have really advanced on graphics and Lucky Paradox just... hasn't.
There are a few weak mechanics of having to earn money and build up some stats, to make it seem kind of like a sandbox game. However they are quite easy and there are a LOT of crutches built in so honestly it's kind of just a fairly kinetic VN with extra stuff tacked on to make it seem deeper.

I like the Tournament stuff, however I didn't like that MCs visions is why he's able to do everything, he's supposed to be crafty yet he just gets his ass beat until the last moment. A problem also could be that Yui is more detached in this compared to other girls questlines I think, which people attached to the characters wouldn't like as much. It actually annoys me more when sexual content in shoehorned in tho, you just need to find a right pace for it, a downtime during Yui's quest for them to do something might've helped. I will say I prefer you to do your own thing and just keep in mind to valid stuff like pacing. I would hate if you just rush through everything or abandon plots you had just because people are impatient or upset about a crazy lunatic character doing terrible things. I especially don't want you to change up your plans with Yaeko, I am very interested to see how MC deals with her, she's supposed to be dangerous for a reason, as it makes MC dealing with her later more impactful, so it's odd seeing people complain she's "forceful" and such. It really even wasn't that terrible, I would say Maxy corrupting her mother with drug is worse honestly, weird how that isn't a complaint.

Well, have high graphics was never my focus, but rather creating a different art style, even if it meant breaking all the rules, hahaha
I didn't want the game to look so generic from the engine I'm using, or I would have used DAZ, but I never managed to do anything different due to my lack of skills at the time (I'm a little tired of seeing the same girls with a change of hair, as if they were movie actresses, hahaha), or that the girls have a cloned body with the same nipples, skin, etc... but thats more common on hentai games so people don't appreciate it
The truth is that Yaeko barely passed; in the original version, she was much worse.
As for the MC's visions, they only help him at the beginning. Now that Yaeko knows about them, she was able to react without any problems, and that gives us a clue that this gimmick won't be as helpful as it seems at first.
About Yui, yes, I think you're absolutely right, it was quite a big mistake. That's why I want to let that arcrest for a while and see how the players' opinions change, i want to make content for other girls too

Depends on your favoured flavour. There is a deep narrative but you have to dig in to get to it and a plethora of sexy scenes with girls of all shapes and sizes but again you have to dig in for most of them (i am talking a dozen plus hours potentially to meet some of them depending on pace you play the game and which characters you focus on first). In the latest updates, I have been adding sexual sounds, and now, in the Charlotte update, I will add much more elaborate animations with lots of details, as well as sounds. As I perfect all of this, I will remaster the old scenes

You can have a harem but it’s not the main focus. You can choose if you want to get closer to a character or not. The main story is the central and core part of the game outside the relationships and character growth in the characters
