put the tape in the drive and hope to have no tape salad:oops:

but let's not get offtopic, enough nostalgia :sneaky:
Ha ha ha, yeah chewed tapes were the pits.
Or the volume was slightly off, so you had to rewind after 20 mins loading and start all over again!
Last bit of nostalgia, honest:

I personally do not like VN games, even with a good story, it is just that, a story, no feeling of interaction.
Sandbox all the way, even the slow burn ones, as long as they are good.

If I look at latest updates, if it's not Sandbox, I move on to the next.
I do not however go to every VN game page and complain saying "Not another VN" i.e. trolling your dislike.

I'd suggest people who hate sandbox to do the same.
It seems that every game I follow here and like, you can guarantee someone moaning about 'Oh no, not another Sandbox game' in the games respective threads. Don't like them, leave the page.
not all sandbox games are created equally :) I understand why you like them, when done right I like them too, but when there 20+ locations and to progress the story you have to be at one of them at a certain time on a certain day, and with no hint on what that is, I lose interest very quickly. with this one i don't have that problem, if I start yo struggle I can just check the computer

Nostalgia ? The first computer game I played was on a terminal connected to a mainframe. A dungeon crawl in green on black. Monsters were represented by capitals.

Looked like this

It was even better when it was a chewed up 8 track, those were such a pain in the butt especially in cars, cassettes you could at least wind with a pencil, 8 tracks worked on a loop if i remember correctly. But yeah, those tapes on the old commadore 64s were the pits.

There seems to be some new "read someone's mind" scenes at the club. Or at least I've seen a couple that I hadn't seen before
Theres also a new scene in the pizza joint if you look around. Or i missed it in another update, not sure. And there is 2 in the library not one with the same character.

lol 8 track cartridges, those were the days!
For cassette tape, the time spent unrolling the tape from the cassette, with a pencil, so that you could get the twist out...:ROFLMAO:
lol totally agree, I was so happy when CD players with the anti skip feature came out, had a sony sport cd walkman with it so i could use it in my car with a cassette adapter, lol

Ha ha, yeah, CD was a revolution!
I remember, after you'd played a tape (video, audio or game) enough times it would get stretched.
That made the audio or video go wonky, or the game not load & it almost guaranteed the tape would get chewed up!
Thank Jerry Lawson for cartridge games. (y)

For those who never found out; A wet washcloth and a clothing iron fixed many a wrinkled 8 track that I owned.
Never could stand how 8 track broke up songs right in the middle.
"I get a peaceful, easy..." hisssss, Ka-Chunk, hisssss "feelin' and I know you won't let me down... 'cause I'm already standin' on the ground." Hahaha :ROFLMAO: "No more Mister Nice..." hisssss... Ka-Chunk, hisssss "Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene..." Hahaha:ROFLMAO:(y) "I'm the king of the..." hisssss, Ka-Chunk, hisssss "Night time world and you're my headlight queen... King of the night time world, Come live your secret dream, alright" Hahaha:ROFLMAO:
I could do this all day and not exaggerate once. It was awful!

I went from reel to reel to cassette and still preferred vinyl LP.
But, I'm familiar with "tape salad" all the same...
Wet cloth, clothing iron on the lowest setting and it will still never sound right again.
It can be done but is it worth the reduced quality results? IDK.

How in the hell did this thread get THAT damned sidetracked??? WTF??? Oh yeah... old timey games... Couldn't play them. The poor graphics actually hurt my eyes and caused migraines. So, my rpg play stayed on tabletop from 1980 until the late 90's.

Anyway, before we got totally and utterly, "And now for something completely different..." derailed I was just stopping by to say thanks to the dev, PT Games, for yet another update (hope it's good) and thanks to TheImage for posting it. New playthrough required so I nuked my old game folder and say YOLO let's give it a go!!! Will return to report any mad buggery I might find... Peace out.

Adventure ever on my friends, Phat:cool:(y)

I'm not into S&M, futa, giant demon bitches, or pointless meandering side quests. I honestly don't care about any character in this game other than Katie who, for whatever reason, seems to get the fewest and lowest quality scenes of any "main" character. The past few updates have been especially disappointing and I find myself skipping through 90% of it. Should I even bother with this one?

While I recommend the game, if you aren't into futa, its probably not for you. Its basically the core aspect, with the other stuff being side quests.

There are more than a dozen women between main romances and side flings. It is expected if you only care about 1 character you will "skip" the majority of content.

Fair enough, although the earlier content that focused more on Katie and the slow burn buildup with her was almost like a completely different game. I feel like dev pulled a switchamaroo at some point when he decided to go full kinky harem fuckfest.

Welp, best of luck dev. I'll show myself out.
