Ah the old "we want an incest-like home setting, but don't want to threaten our bottom line by actually committing to it."

that's my favorite /s
On the other hand the story fits that very well. None of them is like "Oh no, we can't do that. We're roommates!" Both Ashley and Samantha do what they do when they want to do it. No convincing or anything is needed. I think this game really IS intended, not to have any incest.
The setting at the beginning of the story is not much more than a Harry Potter Hommage in my opinion.

I hate it when people whine about a developer's bottom line. This is a business; of course they don't want to jeopardize their primary source of income by violating the platform's policies and getting kicked off. Doing that just because of complaints about "no real incest" by some random people on a forum — most of whom probably don't ever pay for any of the games they get here — would almost be the dumbest business decision they could possibly make. Yes, feedback from folks here is useful. Throwing out your entire platform of revenue is stupid. Clearly some people have no understanding of basic business concepts.

Besides, like you point out, it seems pretty clear this was not intended to have incest. It's written in such a way that trying to cram the round incest peg into the game's square hole doesn't make any sense. The dialogue would have to be rewritten entirely, full scenes would have to be changed, etc. IMO trying to make incest work with this would feel forced at best.

S2 is 1.11.1d, and S3 is 3.4.1d. Maybe i should have used the 1.12.1d version in S2?
I don't know about the new import in season 3, but s2 1.11 should be good to transfer a savegame from season 2 to season 3 the classic way. Start S2, select "transfer savegame" on the upper right. Then in S3 start a new game and select the option to use the S2 savegame.

I launched s1 to see how it looked there and the option to transfer is there in the right corner, but in my version of s2 it dosen't exist. I am going to try to download the latest version of s2 and see if it will be available then. Thank you for the help anyways:)

"business" is pretty generous. It's usually one dude or a small team jerking around patrons for years with a drip feed of content so small it's shameful. "here's your 20 minute update, see you in a year patrons giving me thousands of dollars a month"

give me a break. how will they ever financially recover from their huge overhead of $30 pre-made Daz models.

What does any of that have to do with omitting things like incest in a game to avoid getting kicked off a platform through which a portion of your earnings come? This is your response. Seriously? OK... Here we go, then:
  • business: a commercial or sometimes an industrial enterprise.
There's nothing "generous" about the term business being applied here. "Business" does not automatically mean "big business" like EA or Bethesda.

  • "jerking around patrons for years" / "see you in a year": There have been consistent updates for a long time with this game. Steady progress has been made with each of the girls in turn, and the game's main plot has continued along at a reasonable pace.
I can't see how this describes this game in any way.

  • "here's your 20 minute update": Only maybe true if you Ctrl-skip, but that's your own fault then. If you actually read everything, it takes far longer than 20 minutes to get through content with each release.
There is actual text that goes along with all the pretty pictures, you know.

  • "$30 pre-made Daz models" / "giving me thousands of dollars a month": Everyone starting from scratch will come into development at different personal financial realities. If someone literally has less than US$200 to spend on resources, they obviously scrape and cut corners wherever they can.
You probably have some specific developers in mind. Your claim about the money they make is drastically overstated for the vast majority of adult game developers, though. Check the Patreon stats (on Graphtreon) for 40 or 50 developers and then see how many of those are actually making what you claim. The percentage will be pretty low. Are there some scammers? Definitely. Is Bear in the Night and their team among them? I don't even remotely think so.
You managed an impressive number of ludicrous and irrelevent points in only a few sentences. Well done. I'm having trouble determining if you're actually ignorant on all of this or if you are being willfully obtuse in your response. I'll just add you to my Ignore list because I'm assuming posts like I've seen so far are par for the course for you.

lol somehow I don't feel got by this wall of text. There's hundreds of games with incest here, funnily enough they're doing fine. My response was more in response to you having some kind of high ground of "but they're a business". As if we're not on a website that specializes in posting ALL of these games for free.

I don't give a shit about the people making these games or their bottom line, and I don't for a second think you do either despite your grandstanding here. Or you are you really going to try to convince me, or your self for that matter, that you're subbed to ever single patreon for every single game you've played here, this website devoted to pirating these porn games, a website you're very active on.

my point about the "thousands of dollars a month" was pointed directly at this dev. With over 6000 patreon members. making bank for three years on one unfinished visual novel.

lol, someone here is getting grifted, and spoiler alert, it ain't the developer.

I really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, but I tried a part without any contact with female or male characters. However, the main character still engages without any reason, even with more sexual things seemingly out of nowhere. But well, I had a good time!
