Ya, I don't like all the branching in this game. I want to see and do everything, just not a fan of missing out on content. I also dislike that there is no replay.
I've been trying it but I still don't get it. Can anyone update the cracked game?
You don't need to un-rar the game to apply the crack.
1) unzip the uncracked game from the OP
2) in the OP follow the "Crack" link. You will land on a post having a "script.rpy" file attached to it. Click with the right mouse button and choose "save as" to download the file.
3) just drop the downloaded "script.rpy" inside the "game" folder (the folder named "game")
and you're ready to go.
Has anyone else seen this week's Monday Report from Inceton? From what I can tell, it seems to imply that only Thot on Trial and Unreal Lust Theory will be getting updates until ToT releases on Steam.
Part of this kinda sucks because I like all of Inceton's other games more than ToT, and the main patreon will seemingly only be receiving ULT updates (which not everyone can play due to required specs) until further notice.
On the other hand, once ToT is completed, that frees up more time for LB, LT, UwN and RoT, but at the cost of those games seemingly being in limbo until further notice?
Anyone else feel like this is what they're saying? I could be reading it completely wrong.

Yes, I saw their update too and I read it the same way. Doubly annoying for me as ToT and ULT are the two projects at the bottom of my list (might give ToT another chance one day). I've said on this thread before I would likely patreon if I was able to pledge for particular games, but this is all the more reason for me not too if it would just go on those for the time being.
I think with LT in particular I will skip a few updates anyway, whether they are soon or not. I think there are too many women to potentially move the story with, and getting some meaningful progress with most of them I feel is going to take a very long time. I don't think the regular-ish short updates have done this game any favours.

yeah with LT I was looking forward to the coming updates because the girls who haven’t had their stories started yet are my favourite girls in the game, but now I have to wait like 2 months before any more updates are in progress.
LB I’ve been really enjoying, and to have to wait for more story progress (right when things were really starting to get interesting) is incredibly disappointing, again what’s the point in subbing to the main Patreon right now? ToT’s an NTR game.
I play ULT but that’s a completely different game, that doesn’t get updates nearly as often. What about those who don’t/can’t play ULT?
Guess I can play the backlog of Inceton Games that I’ve yet to play…
u could just change return value of get_dollars function to smth like 9999
that would just solve the issue fine instead of changing every line that does check. dont you think ?

Yep especially in a damn sandbox game. VN I get but no point in sandbox if you cant see everything and have repeatable scenes.
why this is not working for me. i placed this file in my game folder but the game is still taking me to patreon page to login

Maybe because you renamed the original file from script.rpy to some... I don't know why 5014912_script.rpy ?
the name of the file makes the difference.
the name of that script MUST be
script.rpy or it won't override the original script.rpy that is contained in the .rpa archive.I'm hoping things will pick up for you soon in terms of the story and the sense of meaningful progress. When I took over the writing and story design for LT, I had a real battle internally about how I wanted to take things forward. Did I try to give bits of each LI's story drip-fed in every update, so that everyone had a little content of their favorite girls? Did I concentrate on one girl at a time?
In the end, I felt that concentrating on one girl's path at a time was the best way forward to allow players to really focus on each girl's branch and path. I understand that this has led to frustration among those seeking to learn what happened to Ellie or to move forward with Megan's story. However, I felt doing things this way would give more of a sense of story with each girl than only moving the needle on each girl's path a little bit each update. And, since I'm trying to push the emotional connections and MC's personal growth and relationships, I think that needed a little more laser focus.
Fortunately, while I don't want to reveal too much of what's next, the next few updates deal with some characters people have been begging to see take centre stage for a while & we're starting to get to the point where the end game is going to start coming into view. (Disclaimer - this doesn't mean we're just a couple of updates from the end) But the wider understanding of where everything is leading will start to focus more and more.
As the writer for LT, it's probably eye-rolling predictable that I'd say this, but I'm quite excited for the coming updates. And I hope, despite your frustrations about the updates in terms of length, things will feel better going forward and, despite the slowness, you're at least (I hope) enjoying the journey.

That's always a huge problem for a writer of such an ample story when you are a "one-man-show": People complain about slowliness and the fact, that there is too little content with their favorite girls. I think you always should do this with at least half a dozen of colleagues or better keep your hands off. See it from "our" (the readers) point of view. Some of us may be already 50+ and may be afraid not so see the end of the story before they die.

We could be waiting a while for a new update.
Imo, this is quite possibly the worst route they could've taken after that poll Inceton put up. The premise I got from the poll was that the winner would receive updates more frequently, but all games we're going to continue being updated. I did not get that the winner would be the ONLY main branch Ren'Py game being worked on until completion.
Especially considering the cliffhangar Lust Bound was left on last update, having to wait for possibly up to a year to get the story to continue was easily the worst move imaginable.
Personally, they should've gone back to alternating releases, and then just not start a new game once LT3 was complete. Keeps variety, and allows the characters to shine better imo, because we're not seeing them constantly (Believe me, I'm already starting to get sick of the ToT characters). Given this plan, and assuming that Resort of Temptation will continue development as normal, we're going to be seeing the LT characters a lot in the coming months.
Might be worth putting the Hiatus tag on this thread, it's going to be a long while until a new update if Inceton decide to keep this roadmap.

Yeah it sucks honestly. I don't think these changes should happen mid-development, they were always going to disappoint fans taking this route. Having said that... It does make it easier to manage expectations. As CJAM2002 said, the game is effectively in Hiatus.
