I don't agree with this. The writing was sort of fresh and actually really good at times. The art was really good of course, but it's story and writing that decides whether slice of life type games like this are actually good or just a gallery of loosely connected porn images depicting whatever fantasy the maker of the game decided to cater to.
oh c'mmon she didn't write citizen kane. art was far better than writing segment. idea is fresh but rest is mediocre. available choices are not significantly twisting story.
however there is significant possibility for improvement. but for that, except talent, she needs dedication, endurance, professionalism and commitment to the project. unfortunately she showed little of that in the past. she simply has other preferences. this was her side-job. if she was not motivated with 2.5k€/month, i can't predict bright future to this game. this artist dropout and redoing game from c1 shit is proof.

Eh, what can I say to each their own, really. Some people say Milfy City has a good writing and fresh ideas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The writing is nothing exceptional but it's nice. At least the MC is not a victim, having sex right off the bat with the first blackmailer she encounters (yet at least)
You hit the nail on the head. Why do so many female protag games make the lead character the victim and have her do sexual favours only because she was threatened/blackmailed? Do people really find that hot?

Yea, they did being an empowered female lead really well in this game. It's why I enjoyed the game. For example, I totally expected to be punished for not giving in to that first douche's advances--- as that would be the case in nearly every other game on this site with a female lead.

"Is he going to find the feMC in a dark alley later? Find some thugs to molest her? Molest her further right now and get away with it? Is she going to like it because that's just how it usually goes?"

Color me all sorts of surprised when none of that happened. Most men (that play porn games) do find it hot when a women gets punished/corrupted for fighting back--- it's why games with that narrative keep getting made. Most feMC games are made by men that have specific power fantasies, and they're played by men with those same fetishes. And people that come to expect and enjoy those fetishes, have a difficult time with games that don't have them--- and are often unable to tell that they like/dislike games due to a fetish bias. This game didn't have a weak storyline/plot/etc. (nor was it high literature), it just had themes that aren't as universally desired by the kinds of people that play these games.

Really bad news. Javier's art is very powerful and, of course, his art made this game one of the most interesting in the visual part and one that stand out from the rest.
Regarding his reasons for living the project, indeed, drawing pornography does not seem to be the only one, maybe not even the main one ... But if it is, maybe his original idea was to do something more soft-erotic, no explicit pornography. The point at which something goes from being erotic to pornographic is unclear, something even very personal that depends on the eyes of the observer, but in general it could be said that pornography is when penetrations appears, detailed close-ups of the sexual organs, ejaculations, etc ..., and erotism when the thing are more insinuated and subtle, shows you less and let your brain imagine the rest.

Also, considering this is some kind of tracing art, this means you first have to browse through several real pics in order to find some poses that fit what you want to draw in the scene. And if you are not really into it, I guess it can be a real pain

not necessary. now some ms movies including above mentioned elements of porn. of course no blockbusters or hollywood major studios, but usa independant movies or european, asian. and these are art movies, sometime with well-known actors, not cheap trash.
see: 9 songs, brown bunny, realm of senses...

That's why I love art so much.

By re-designing the game or giving bogus reasons why it has to be done in the first place, she'll be able to recycle old excuses and add more problems (new characters) so it'll be easier for her to explain why the project moves slower than expected. It's her way of admitting that she doesn't have any plans for the remainder of the story. Stalling the project is her only option to make sure people remain hopeful and are willing to spend cash.
Tbh at this rate the dev should just convert the Patreon to her OnlyFans if she wants to continue :)

I think it's a bad excuse to redo the entire story, you could just call it S1 and not bother with remaking it. S2 can use better graphics, and a different artist entirely. There probably has been multiple games like that.

Well, it was a nice game. I mostly enjoyed the art. But there won't be any continuation. And patreons shall stop supporting this milking. With the latest post it has become obvious that the story with the artists leaving the project 5 months before the post is just an excuse. The project appeared to be a commercial failure, so it makes no sense to support a project which will die anyway because the lead artist has left the project

not to her. 2.5k€/mo is not failure.
but you are right about artist. she knew he is leaving (in her defence it is not so easy to find one matching that quality, but she shouldn't be pulling noses of subscribers with promises that c5 is comming any day, from september) and she is going to abuse it. revamp (if ever) will give her at least year of recycling old material so c6 will come sometime in 2023 at best (if ever!)

Ah yeah I forgot nowadays a man can't be a little insistent towards a woman or he risks a harassment lawsuit. Though I concede a "slap him" option would have been nice for the delicate flowers
Dude, there's a big difference between being a little insistent and sexually harassing someone. I sincerely hope you only see this as a non-issue because it's a game and you don't actually believe that pushing someone against a wall and going for a kiss with no consent is acceptable in real life.

The scene was made by a woman and she seems to have no problem with it. It is acceptable IRL in some circumstances, whatever you say, and it does happen. Of course not all men have a good touch, you have to be pretty confident, like Tom in the game.

And as I said, an option to slap him to avoid being kissed (he would have stopped here) would have been good for players not interested by him or the situation

Can we.. not bring harassment into the real world and just enjoy it in the game if it's your thing? You seem to think it's okay to ignore and intrude on women's boundaries for the sake of "flirting", that's shitty and that's on you, don't start going around preaching that it's something that all man need to start doing cuz it's just confidence man and some women like it and it used to be acceptable but then the snowflakes came and ruined everything. I get enough creepy harassers on the street/bus/cafes/office ect and trust me, the last thing they need is to be encouraged by other creepy harassers.

Not to argue what is ok and what isn't ok to be defined as flirting. But if you are attractive, you get away with many things.

Let's be honest, in reality, if a man is ugly, flirting becomes harassment anyway. :cautious:
