Most of the projects you are referring to scale up from a less-than-stellar quality, because they have to. They are new at computer art and need to both learn the process, and procure the necessary hardware. I have played dozens of those games, and read enough of the developers' comments about having to buy new hardware, and about going back to re-render everything, to understand why they 'scale up slowly'.

It would seem that the developers of this game already have the expertise and sufficient hardware for their initial purpose, and have no need to ramp up over time in that regard.

Joanna's RedLolly partner is a former AAA game dev which helps explain why the art is so good.

Meet the characters: Lei Hudson

What would college be without a mean girl messing with our existence?

If you study at LC, Lei Hudson is the queen bee that you have to avoid at all costs.
Sharp, cruel and always well dressed, she is admired and hated by everyone. But we well know that more than one would like to be her.
Lei is Asian descent on his mother's side and shares a father with Tom. Strong and determined, she is a smart girl who will not hesitate to break a few rules to achieve her goals.

Will you dare to confront her or will you end up trampled by her boots? Alice may end up being just another one of her victims, or maybe our darling redhead will steal her position as a popular girl and become even worse than her. It will depend on you, of course.

In this first chapter she has left us more questions than answers. What's her relationship with Tom, do she hates him as much as it seems? Why does Darren know so much about the Hudson family? Is she just bad, or has her life led her to be like this? With what little we know of his father, we already know that cruelty runs through the veins of this family.

Yeah, Lei is obviously supposed to be the antagonist character and the "bitch queen" of the school. Yet I have to admit I kinda like her, and asian girls are indeed a bit of a rarity. I'm hoping she'll have a redemption arc or something once we get to know her better.

I'd be a shame if her character has no development throughout the story and she stays a bitch to the end. That's usually the case in these games though.

Never mind Alice being another of Lei's victims or stealing her position, can Alice get into Lei's panties? Or even an MFF with Tom?

Never mind the plot, I want to know about the sexual possibilities. It looks like we, as players, can affect the plot in the ways suggested. That's good to know. But what can we get in the process?

An engaging plot can turn a porn game into a great porn game. But, notice the common adjective in either case.

And, make no mistake, I'm all in favor of a slow burn if it's indicated by the plot, but I want to eventually wind up with an inferno, not having the fire fizzle out.

I couldn't upload a post today because Bones and I have spent the whole day programming and reviewing the script. She doesn't miss a single bug!
But don't worry. Tomorrow you will have the update for Chapter 1, with some improvements that I think you will like.
