Patreon isn't a subscription platform though, neither a retail store. You pledge to support the creator so they hopefully carry on work on what you like. If people would only pledge for the month the creator release something new, that might have taken them 3 months to work on that would be counter productive. I don't mind pledge to a creator for a few months before they release a update as long as they actually do it, and I know they work on the project. When it's up in the blue if they will actually keep work on it even though I do pledge, things get iffy.I hear you and understand your point I think. In my opinion, any pledge, monthly or quarterly, is only paying for the most recent release. Like a subscription to Batman. The comic will never "end" I am only paying for the most recent update. If at some point they say well not enough subscribers to continue, the market has spoken, then they can stop wasting peoples time and money. I'm ok with that. I don't know. It takes a lot of time and work to put these games together. It's asking a lot for Devs to just keep grinding and losing money. They are just being honest and saying this is what we need to make this work. It's up to us the consumers to decide is this game worth it I guess.
I hear you...I think of Radiant right nowPatreon isn't a subscription platform though, neither a retail store. You pledge to support the creator so they hopefully carry on work on what you like. It does.Fuck me this looks amazing but is it just me or does the whole "we need this level of funding to continue" combined with the Instagram kinda seem a bit sketchy?
Marketing ploy to bring people to pledge. The wording is "WE NEED", so safe to guess more than one person involved. It does.
Well... she writes on her Patreon that she works on this with her partner, who does the visuals/art. But yes, I think she knows exactly what she's trying to do by linking her IG full of (censored) nudes.Marketing ploy to bring people to pledge. Soon we see creators of games start pimp their gf's on instagram, onlyfans etc to bring in pledges to their games (maybe...)

Hello darlings!
Today, finally, I have released the first chapter of the video game!
What do you think about it? I hope you liked it! I would love to read your opinion if you leave it in comments. ❤
I'm not going to lie to you, it has been half a year of hard work, but I'm happy with the result.
Lust Campus is a multi-adventure erotic graphic novel with great aesthetic load and an entertaining plot with a bit of comedy. Ideal for people who care about lighting in porn (for example) or enjoy a good erotic novel. I'll explain a bit how it works: every two months (sooner if we can) we will release a new chapter. A week or so later we will release the Spanish version. It will be like following a series or subscribing to a magazine.
But do not worry that you aren't going to get bored: between chapter and chapter I will fill the wait posting here, on patreon, where I will be able to ask you your opinion on how you want the story to follow, I will do polls of how you want the characters who are going to be appearing, the costumes, etc ... I'll also show you the making of the entire creative process and I'll keep you updated on how the new chapter is progressing.
And if you still have time, you can go to our exclusive Discord community to talk with the other players!
Why do we do it like this? Because to do all this content we are only two people: my partner is in charge of the visual development and art direction and I'm of the game mechanics, script, translation, programming, marketing and the other thousand things that must be done to make this work. And that, dear ones, is very time consuming.
That is why it is so important that if you like it, you support it on patreon, even the smallest help makes a difference.
Well, I better leave you alone, maybe I'm getting a bit longer for a first post ... I'm new in this, I hope you have a little patience with me.
Thank you for your support and I will read you in the next post, darlings!
