Oh great... Sonpih's back on the WoW College Fan-Fic again... How about instead of complaining about the lack of M/F content we can start complaining about his Cringe Redridge School idea, huh?

Hate how this discoure of Str8 and gay shit happens every month. And more so the fact that 9/10s out of ten the people complaining are enjoying free content without being a patreon sub. My only point to say is that if you hate the content either pay to have it tweaked or changed or legit shut up, cuz Sonpih isn't active on here so you're just yelling into a bottomless pit
I know this isn't an unusual thing for people to do, but I never understand the desire to make a fanwork of an IP, and then veer so hard away that it only has the barest connection to the thing it's based on. The random horse dude is particularly egregious.
Also of all places, why Redridge? I know this is me putting on my nerd glasses and going UHM ACKCHUALLY, but Redridge is rural nowhere almost entirely dominated by logging operations. Why not Dalaran, or just put a school in Stormwind or something?
I'm on board with this. I didn't care for the academy the first time it came out, but I figured he wanted to do it and it wasn't the worst thing ever. I was happy when it was over though, and I think a lot of other people were too, so am surprised it's back.

That's not viable. Replacing the females with males is not a "ctrl+c, ctrl+v" thing, is creating new models and scenes, texts and lines of dialog, which, for a game of this size, it's not possible. Deleting the females? it's like mutilating the game, even I, as a gay dude, don't want that.
Each update included some female npcs (Ok, mostly as enemies, but they're around). Updates like this one, are not common. The all-boy academy part is, by far, my less liked part in the game, with only 2 or 3 interesting sex scenes, Honestly I don't know why sonpih is so obsessed with this part, but again, people ask me the same question about my obsession with bald, hairy guys... so yeah XD
I remember stopping my support on his Patreon by the time that the academy storyline was beginning, I never liked it. Middle/high school is a time in my life I DON'T want to revisit in a game. I barely tolerate the persona games because of that.

Having being playing couple of big name games lately, and they all have big chunk of random School Life Arc when the game itself is nothing about it at all, Luckily, they are all optional that you can skip entirely.
(They are ironically like an escapism for the characters in the game
)I can confidently say some people are just so Into School Life, Either that were their best time in life, or they didn't get (a good) one so fantasising about it.
Also this is Sonpih's creation, I get the feeling he just does whatever random stuff he want as a hobby / venting his sexual fantasies, not bigger picture for a proper game as a whole anymore.
So I won't hold him for higher standard anymore.
Not saying ppl shouldn't voice their dissatisfaction, but do it in a respectful way, like Rafster.

When you unpack the Linux-Version of the Game, you need to set the executive bit since Windows File System doesn't even "know" what that is!
I think the Dev included my How-to in the Readme, which I provided to him in a PM when I was still a Patron.
Use the Native Version and I think if anything's missing, Linux logs will tell you, I think. But Unity-Games usually bring everything with them when "baked" into an App-Image, which I think the Dev does. I can run on natively on all my Linux-PCs/Laptops.
I pretty much had the exact same response, the first year or so that this game got into F95. There were already quite a few signs of Sonpih meddling with the canon of the IP that made me cringe like the Tauren Bull Farms in Westfall and... Baine... which was "SLIGHTLY" offset by the rest of the game being authentic to the original, and some of the crazy ideas they had for the areas after that were still good and fun.
But get into Redridge and that's when Sonpih's Fanfiction Rot sticks out like herpes. I know that Redridge has always been something of a nothing burger of a zone, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still a place with it's own folks and stories to pull from. Heck, this could have been zone that introduces burly lumberjack humans, Gnolls, Kobolds and the Ents. It didn't have to be anything crazy like Duskwood or Deadwind, but... idk... It feels like we lost a lot of time and faith waiting for Sonpih to get it out of their system and the game hasn't felt the same since.
And the game HAS changed since... From adding some incredibly weird characters, to leaning more into the Half-Assed Kemonomimi Transformations, to that annoying Sex Scene Music. It's clear that Sonpih's treating this as their cringe dorky fan-fiction with no concern how this might affect our investment into a NSFW parody, of a game that folks have put dozens of hours into.
