Hey idk why but the phone video player just shows me a black screen. It's the part at the beginning when we put the memory card into the phone and the video plays but there's just a black screen. I even installed it to another folder. Anyone have any fixes?

For me isn't a black screen but just a white one that nothing shows up

That specific scene is the only one that plays a pre-rendered video, so it's probably a codec issue. It usually happens when running the game on non-native Windows environments (wine on Linux or remote desktops)

The bads:
- Bad gameplay and mediocre exploration. > Well, yeah, I too could use some more "useless" items to explore and some "extra" people around to have some more life in the map. But it's fine and enough for me.
- The usual fetch quests in a linear story, no repeatable scenes either. > The story is very interactive. Even more than in the original LiS game. No doubt, it's the most interactive game I've seen so far in this genre.
You can repeat every scene in the gallery.
- One autosave slot and can't rollback. Get ready to save regularly. > Do you rollback your life too? Choose your decisions wisely. And saving in this game is no problem at all. The only problem I see is when you load an old save... Then it kills your latest autosave. But that has nothing to do with an actual playthrough or that you miss some saving points.
- No autoforward mode. Get ready to click every 8 words. > Does anybody really use autoforward? How does the game know how fast or slow you read? I don't see that the dialogues are too long and forwarding through them is not an issue for me. If you are not interested in reading you can use the Shift or X key.
- Mass effect dialogue wheel complete with timed interrupts. Better pay attention and not use the fast forward mode that skips them. > You want exploration, a non linear story, exciting quests and story... and now a fast skipping feature is game breaking for you? Honestly?!

This game began as an experimental 3D game but later on he switched back to the 2.5D game style. I'm glad about this decision, because... well, look at the final result .

We got a crazy good fan game plus sex scenes. "The Architect" wrote and executed an amazing game that you can sunk in 5-10 hours in. I had a blast playing it I just wish there was more butt stuff because thats my kink, but ultimately it is Dev's choice what and how to do it, and we have to respect it, just like we have to respect how Dev decides to end the game
