Yep, if all the dev did was re-do just a few of the static images, but nothing else, that's not a 'whole lot of work' that they claimed. Eh, based on the dev's previous releases, their production time (usually very extended) it's clear they really didn't put much time in the game, so, eh...I don't know how much time the dev actually really spent on this latest rework, but the Lust & Life banner looks the same as when the game was rejected by Steam in mid-November 2022 and, since Lola was changed to Lily just for that image, which is also used for the family picture in the lobby of the house, and it's used only in the first scene in which she appears.
It's noticeable that Lily goes back to being exactly the same model as before from the moment you see her changing her clothes and taking up her old hairstyle the first time you enter her room, so, if she was the problem for them before, it's not surprising that Steam rejected the game again. From that moment on Lily and Lola are exactly identical, the only difference is that Lily's portrait is positioned higher when you talk to her, so as to give the impression that she is taller, for the rest you can perfectly superimpose the scenes from Girl House with those of Lust & Life without finding any differences, which is kinda of a shame, since probably using the new Lily model (or even, and entirely my personal opinion, the new Katya model from My Cute Roommate 2) for the whole game would more than likely have it accepted by the store, even if it would have meant a whole lotta of additional work.
We saw from MCR2, where the dev literally used the same animations except the MC had a smaller dick, where the animations had his dick come out of the woman by like 6", that was pure lazy development.
