To be perfectly honest, I'm very pessimistic about this situation. I've been disappointed by developers and writers too often, even by top visual novels. But feel free to surprise me in a positive way.

Again, thanks for the honest take. Even if it's a bit brutal to read, I will always take honesty over blind praise any day. End of the day, all I can keep doing is my best, something I like to think I am bringing to the table with my work every day. I don't take on writing I'm not passionate about, and put my all into everything I put out into the world.

That will still not be enough for some. A casual runner's 5k run is not equal to an Olympians. I'm not saying I'm the 5k runner in this scenario, or an Olympian for that matter. Still, the point remains, I will do the very best I can by this story, as I have from day one, and I hope what I put out there resonates and works for the fans.

Not everyone will love it. I'm sure some will downright hate it. I even read in the steam discussion for the game right now that one player is refusing to purchase Season 3 or even give it a look unless we have at least one defloration scene with full blood on cock visible. Oddly specific reason to fully boycott a game, but to each their own.

Many here have taken time to remind me that I will drive myself mad trying to appease everyone, so here I'm just going to reiterate that I am putting my all into trying to make this season of Lust Theory the capstone the series deserves. I hope I succeed in the eyes and hearts of the players. But, if I don't, at least it won't be for want of trying.

As the new writer who took over the story development and writing for Season 3, I hope you will give it a go. As others have stated previously, some decisions and narrative choices might come over a bit contrived, but I have done my uttermost to make Season 3 the best I can, and really hope I am honoring the best parts of the series to date, while also contributing something new and fresh, breaking new ground with the characters and story. I can't guarantee it will be to your taste, still if you are on the fence and need a little nudge, I'd urge you to look back over the recent reviews and comments since I took over. They should give you some idea of the public sentiment and opinion since I took on the writing.

I came back after a long time and really slowed down and read through the new writing. I was really blown away at the depth of the relationship building. I think you've done a fantastic job. The premise is too complex and there's too much baggage to satisfy everyone's theories about the mechanics of the story. But the mechanics of a time loop are so much less important than how the story handles the relationship development. So I think you've emphasized the right things here. There's some real writing talent on display in season 3.

LOL the scene after they get Jeff when they're sitting on the couch and Liz comes in yelling at them all worried. I thought that was going to get spicy or at least hoped so!

Heh I find that S3 is more interesting than S2 (at least imho) because it was so confusing and everything went nuts for the wrong reasons.
At least with S3, we can see the consequences and weigh in which girl or group of girls the MC wanna salvage. Some will be easier with time (like Eliz and Jessica), others you don't have nothing to worry about (Sophia, Amy because you can plan to help them later on and they don't have a beef against you) and some are problematic (the besties duo and the crazy blonde).
Anyways like I said previously : a good storytelling should not be able to solve all those issues unless some random "manga/anime" happens with the power of friendship and other BS.

So for the moment quite content with the storytelling.

I was reflecting on my earlier post on this, and yeah, S1 was chaotic fun, it was like playing a game on god mode. Sure, it can be fun for the lulz, but with no lasting consequences, eventually you will run out of one upping whatever over-the-top scenario of the week the devs come up with.

S3 now has the weight of those consequences to navigate, and has the sense that there are actual stakes involved.

S2, well, while it sorta went off the rails, i guess it was needed to set the stage for S3.
