Well, I imagine that is easier said than done. When a dev finally hits on a game that people enjoy I bet its hard to just let the money maker end and try to hit that success again. Its why so many devs get on the bad cycle of remastering a game only for it to end poorly or never end at all and just fade away.I've noticed this appears to be a major pitfall for most porn game devs. Lately I've been mulling over how a dev might best avoid this and I'm honestly considering making an outline. I think rather than writing the story free-form (which is what appears to be the norm) you'd have better success starting with a skeleton story, cementing the major point points in advance, and then fleshing things out in between.
Of course I lack motivation and it seems like hubris to think a casual enjoyer of porn games could do it better than an experienced dev. So I'll probably never get around to working on it. But it is kind of a fun thought experiment.
The number of devs who just successfully release and finish games regularly is just incredibly small, most are just flash in the pan 1 hit wonders so they milk it for all its worth.
