Thank you for that. I am exploring my options in that regard at the moment. I've honestly wanted to make a VN that is truly my own for a long time. It was one of the things that spurred me to join Inceton in the first place. At the time, I considered it the best I could do since I had the writing skills and experience, but none in rendering or coding.

If there is one thing the last year of working on Lust Theory has given me, it is a little more understanding of WHAT I need to learn and do to get started making my own game a reality.

Since I have a bit more free time, I have been learning Daz, studying Ren'Py coding, and laying the groundwork for my story and plan. (This is not an impulse story; I've had a dream story I've wanted to make as an AVN for years.

There's a long road before me. A lot I need to learn, a lot I need to ready and prepare. I need to finance some better gear if I ever want to render anything decent.

I have been thinking about how to finance the road ahead (aside from saving money from new work). I'm looking into doing commission writing, maybe making a 'fantasies' style Patreon or blog where members can request scenes I'd write for them, maybe with accompanying art and renders once I get the hang of composing them. It would be as short stories to begin with, but if there is interest in it, I might start that off.

I'm exploring options. Not sure if I can declare all that here as this is the Lust Theory page, not a place strictly to advertise potential stuff of my own. But in any case, I'm not gonna let my experience with Inceton and being fired sour my love for VNs and writing them, and I want to see what I can create for myself going forward.

Please do since I really enjoyed your work this season. Would love to see what you can do with a blank canvass.

PS my favourite fetish is Big Sister and Little Brother and Fem Teacher and Male Etudent and I feel you did really well with both this season of Lust Theory.

This story ending is not too bad, but man the animations have taken a complete nose dive and felt rushed. I was so looking forward to the inevitable Alice scenes and they were just... bad.

I'd be kind of disappointed if the series just ends here. The girls are hot but the sex scenes have been very repetitive throughout all three games. It was just a series of escalation until the middle of season 2 where it just became a fuck fest. Then Season 3 became romantic and about regaining trust with the girls which I really enjoyed but it lead to the same sex scenes as before with Jess+Chloe and Meg+Zoe. Like I don't think we ever fucked Jess outside the house. Like This game has been going on from 2018 so 7 years and the relationship between the two sisters of the MC were barely fleshed out. I really don't want this game to end right now because I despise the typical progression of AVN where the best characters have the same slow progression of handjob, blowjob and then sex and then the game ends. I really hope a season 4 is planned. I really feel like the girls have great enough personalities that alot more can be done without the groundhog day effect.If you're worried that the multiple choice ending will make it hard to make a continuation do something like make it all canon.. Like the MC choice between the 12 or so girls split the timeliness and instead of resetting the day he is just jumping between the timelines whilst trying to solve some mystery..
Like Timeline 0 is where he chise to remain single but someone like his dead beat father has been murdered, but in the other timeline he hasn't been.
Like say if the dad met Jessica before he died to beg forgiveness for abandoning his family.Now she is a actress and has some information stored in her trailer.
If you are not in a relationship with Jessica she won't allow you in her trailer.So you shift in her timeline and have sex with her on the movie or TV set she is in where she also roleplays for you as her character and you gain access to her trailer for information.
That way you can be honouring all your choices without having to make a million different storylines.
Or something like a cosplay convention where you don't have the tickets so you shift into the Ellie timeline and enter the convention but you need to enter the VIP area. We'll it just so Happen that Jessica has been cast as something Nerdy like Zatanna Zatara so you shift in her timeline to get into the VIP. Now to escape you decide to use the live band performing where you see Megan. Now you shift into Megan's timeline to join her band and get out of there. Then you shift to Sophie's timeline so she can pick you up in a car

As someone who also used to write for Inceton, my condolences go out to you, Embercat. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda shocked by Lancelot's message to you as he definitely never spoke to me like that in the five years I worked for him, but considering how things ended for me, I guess I can't be entirely surprised either.

With that being said, there is one other thing important thing I wanted to say.

Well, now that im back from offshore, i finished the update.

I chose to play through the shorter ending first. Honest impression, okay, it wasnt *bad*, didnt hate it, and i guess it qualified as an ending without pulling in some horseshit out of left field. But felt less than optimal with respect to doing stuff with Alice.

Then I went back and played the longer version. It was so much better, not only in length, but in bringing things together, having real development with Alice, but still having the reveal that sets you at the same crossroads choice of Alice vs One of the Others.

It was so much better, to the point, im not sure if anyone would prefer the shorter ending?

Oh, and so that there is no question on the subject: FUCK LUST TIME!

Don't get me wrong, I like it too, it's alright but I wouldn't say it doesn't "pull in some horeshit out of left field" when the very scene before it is Carol literally sending you on the date she suddenly tries to sabotage and telling you you're such a good dude now, the people you'll meet in the future will be lucky to have you in their lives only to then snap at you that you're a jackass who hurts everyone, literally five minutes later.

Let's also not forget that her entire motivation for breaking up your relationships is to set you up with Alice, so if she no longer wants this, she has no reason to keep doing that and the entire plot breaks apart.

I haven’t played the longer Ending 1 yet, but Ending 2 I have played, and it feels tacked on, with no real explanation for what’s happening, and Alice playing basically no part in the ending, and also suddenly being affected by the “one divided by zero” trick (which also comes back with no explanation beyond “I guess that bug is still here”) despite Alice also being affected by the loops. It’s not particularly interesting, it’s bland tbh.

It’s been pretty much confirmed that Ending 1 is Embercat’s ending, and Ending 2 wasn’t done by him. So I’m really looking forward to getting to the longer Ending 1 and seeing what Embercat had in place.

Otherwise, Ellie and Alice’s stories are quite good (or what I’ve played of Alice’s at least) and continue with the writing quality of the previous updates.

I think Lancelot just needs to understand that explanations and building a story are not boring. Really, sex scenes should compliment the story, not having the “story” (if it exists) exist around what amounts to a fuckfest.

Oh yeah, and of course:

Fuck Lust Time.
