Just finished season 1, have an earlier version of season 2 downloaded and working, but when I downloaded from mega and extracted the season 2 final version, it doesn't work. I'm on mac, says "the application can't be opened". Anyone got a fix? I moved the package contents out of the extracted folder into the application's show package contents directory and have it set up exactly the same as the previous season 2 version, with the autorun, game, renpy, and lib folders.

I finally got around to playing through season 2 over the past couple days. I can't be the only one that found the last, rather long, sequence of events to be a major boner-killer right? All sense of character agency was thrown out the window and it felt like the ending was empty fan-service for no reason at all. After a certain point the dialogue became superfulous and I might as well have been looking at animated gifs and that feeling dragged on for a long time.

Still the game is a hell of a lot better than a lot of porn games. Just disappointed with the direction of the narrative.

That was the general consensus if you search through this thread - first half of S2 was one of the best adult VNs on this site while the second half was one of the greatest letdowns. My 2 cents - the writer and the team got bored of the setting and just wrapped it up in kind of a rushed-nonsensical fashion.
Unfortunately for them, most of their patrons wanted a season 3 and for them to fix it... so here we are. Still not sure they can fix it but I'm happy the game did not just end on that stupid note (the final dates were a nice touch though)

I've noticed this appears to be a major pitfall for most porn game devs. Lately I've been mulling over how a dev might best avoid this and I'm honestly considering making an outline. I think rather than writing the story free-form (which is what appears to be the norm) you'd have better success starting with a skeleton story, cementing the major point points in advance, and then fleshing things out in between.

Of course I lack motivation and it seems like hubris to think a casual enjoyer of porn games could do it better than an experienced dev. So I'll probably never get around to working on it. But it is kind of a fun thought experiment.

I used the S2 code for S3E3 and it worked. But I can't get the replays to work, it says there aren't any.

Well, I imagine that is easier said than done. When a dev finally hits on a game that people enjoy I bet its hard to just let the money maker end and try to hit that success again. Its why so many devs get on the bad cycle of remastering a game only for it to end poorly or never end at all and just fade away.

The number of devs who just successfully release and finish games regularly is just incredibly small, most are just flash in the pan 1 hit wonders so they milk it for all its worth.
