To break the negativity a bit, while I agree that the scope creep is a problem I don't really agree on some of the more doom and gloom opinions in here, it is still an extremely high quality porn game and brings good content relatively consistently.

Hyao is also a relatively good dev when it comes to community and such, just look at Lust Odyssey and its horrible dev.


I don't think that there ever will be a 'perfect' game and dev especially considering most games here are hobby projects that gained traction we shouldn't paint the devil on the wall non-stop.

This is just my Opinion and not target at anyone directly and so on, I just feel that we might need a bit more positivity in here.

What we need is to be more objective.
Not blindly defending whatever the dev is doing cuz you like the game;
Nor be a hater that just Made Up Lies try to paint the dev in bad light, cuz He didn't do what you want him to.

Not judging Hyao's ability as a dev here, but he's intention is always good, and genuinely want to make a good game - in fact both the arts and writing are of top quality among it's peers. (Also from what I heard he is a massive positive influence among many devs.)
But we still need to be critical about the glaring Scope Creep issue that he ain't trying to solve anytime soon.

I condemn devs that just view porn games as a means to make money, sell out game integrity.
Like LO, pay to win polls dictate contents made, forced paid self-inserts that don't really belong, using Generative AI to make contents, etc.
But I will still praise the things he did good, like very hot sex scene writing, or the amazing sexy alien designs before they faded into oblivion.

and saying Hyao gets too many ideas to finish one is just a flat cop-out sorry, if everybody had that mindset NO games would ever reach completion.

I never said it as a good thing mind you, I'm saying there's a difference between being a bit scatterbrained and outright selling out the core of the game to the highest bidder.

The writing has basically been the same as it always has. Have you read some of the descriptions he's used in some of the very early builds?

Was he actually "on-screen" outright killed? I know he's "gone", but is it like a "we literally saw him dead" gone or "we have no idea what happened to him" kind of gone? I legit just don't remember.

I will say one of the annoying aspects of LD is that you can have missable scenes or progress past a point where a scene is no longer possible and there isn't enough save slots to save everything, so yeah I'll give you "well now I can't mess with him since he's gone".

He stood his ground to fight a bunch of invincible shapeshifting demons that we know from dialogue with 'Jester' as well as his corrupted friend need very, very little effort to essentially completely assimilate and replace a person's existence wholesale. We don't see him die, but context clues make it blatantly obvious that at absolute best he's getting identity death'd. Not that it really matters either, because Hyao is never advancing the main plot ever again.

Ngl I think a LOT of people would of preferred that, or just get a separate artist for it, ZoroJ just had a super hot way of drawing burly men that not many can compete with, especially if you were into feet.

I originally joined it for his art alone really, and over time I did enjoy the game to a certain extent but when Hyao just kept forgetting to add things to the Evil route like wiping out the Lizard Tribe and then stagnated in Northcrest for months I noticed it was no longer the same game.

I'm not gonna pretend to know what happened with ZoroJ because I don't, and I was implying to "get a separate artist for the feral stuff" (who was Narram, who then left for personal reasons as he's been going through some shit).

Also yes, he did some hot stuff, though not only am I not into feet, I don't remember there *being* that much foot content in LD. There's a few scenes here and there I can recall (Barrel and Rat King), but I don't even remember most of the sprites having a foot focus either. To each their own though.

I'm, not really sure what you're hoping for from a NSFW game TBH. Vast majority of these games have a hard focus on getting you off or telling a story with sex being such a non-thing that some of them have toggles to remove NSFW. This game always had a light focus on the story element but was always about getting you off. As for "empty sex leading to nowhere", I'd love to know what all the wolf/werewolf loads were for in the early game that is no longer a thing in the late game. Hell you can technically go through this game having sex with no one if you so chose to, though it'd be a rather boring game overall.

If you found LD expecting an epic tale, I really don't know what to tell you. Yes there was always SOME story elements, but the focus was always on getting you off. If anything, you should be upset that the game barely does THAT anymore since the content per month has gone down drastically since the earlier builds.

The only razor bear that can be tamed is the one you tame with Roghak. The beast calmer isn't a lure.
