Care to name a few?
From those that I've played? Too much light, would be one that actually works and does the things it say it does. If you've got a VR headset virtamate is probably something you'd enjoy. Threshold road isn't perfect but it's at least more horror focused than this.

There's a v4 on Itch from 5/11. It doesn't seem? that the Steam version has been updated in quite some time.

A v6 was just released (8/29) on itch. He also posted that he seems to be having trouble updating and communicating with the community on Steam.

Troubles updating and communication with the community on Steam? Thats weird, I don't know but it doesn't look like is really complicated to post anything when you are a developer. I never saw a dev in Steam making that excuse. I was planing in buy the game in steam but the reviews keeps you away. The dev should work harder to solve that if she/he wants to get money from there too.

Could be some sort of problems with steam themselves, they may be looking at the game with the intention of removing it, I have seen a few games like this appear on steam then vanish again a few months later with nothing stating why or how, the page for them just goes poof.

I don't know, the only games I saw were removed from steam are 2D games and all were from a japanese developer, I bought many 3D games from different developers and I have many in my wishlist and they are just fine and at least I didn't saw any 3D game being removed, with the exception of some game that had rape in it or something that steam "hates".
Steam is weird but I don't think that they will "ban" some porn games and others not, when all of them have the same kind of content.

although its nice, fix the animation upgrade the graphics, make some survival stuff, getting captured and fucked, or some zombie action with lots of good sex animation, this game can be masterpiece after lots of updates.
