I get that, and if I'm being honest, something close to or basically the same to your reply can be read in a lot of other comments defending the storytelling, but the point I was trying to make is that the dev favored one side over the other pretending he's all for equal content while contradicting himself storywise on at least a few occasions, which beats the whole point of that " fictional 'realism' " or "not believable enough" excuse he made in his defense.
To put it simpler, he's basically a generous millionaire giving two guys he trusts two different amounts of money to support them in their endeavors, their businesses or whatever other scenario you wanna imagine.
Problem here is, he gives one, let's say, 10k and the other only 5k.
Technically speaking, yes, he did help both of them out, BUT simple, obvious fact is, one got more money, double the amount, than the other, and this is exactly what happens here in the story.
Feel free to replay the game and see for yourself, and if this still isn't convincing anyone that what I said is right, the simple funny fact that the MC has one of, if not the, smallest dicks in the whole male cast and subpar sex scenes with the girls should prove my point with the help of sweet porn 'logic'.
I know that at the end of the day, what's considered good or not boils down to tastes and preferences, it almost always does in the vast majority of cases, but in situations like ours, it's a better choice to only focus on one of the two big kinks, not both of them, stick to it and listen to your fanbase's feedback... never said anything about removing choices from the game bcz I'm also a big fan of choices having actual consequences on how the story plays out and who the MC romances or sleeps with. That's it.
Feel free to still disagree, got no problem with this, since I don't think us, other users too, agreeing to disagree on certain topics or the game's fate so far will change anything if the dev himself doesn't want it to.
