hmmm...Anime/Japanese culture term that can mean a lot of things and has been used to describe a lot of things that it should not even describe.
It stands (generally) for 'netorare', a Japanese word which basically means cuckoldry; where a character's love interest (or important person) is 'stolen' by another person.
There are two other similar words:
It has also been used to describe situations like the love interest having a sex life from before she was in an established relationship with the player character.
- 'Netori', where the main character is 'stealing' another person's love interest.
- 'Netorase', which is basically swinging (sharing partners).
It has been used to describe having your girl sexually assaulted or coerced into sex by another man or other men. Which, honestly, that is not what it is and I should be given the option to bring my guns and my Fireteam from Masters of Raana to rain steel on those guys, give them 60 to Life in my mines.
Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me <3
but it couldn't qualify as cheating?
