I think that Inceton has finally finished their re-write of this title.If it's any consolation, Inceton themselves admitted the story was pretty disappointing, and they claimed they want to take their time and make it right by all their fans they disappointed with the second part of the game. Most of the characters and events in the story will be rewritten, so it's pointless to keep pointing out all the mistakes and plotholes in the story, cuz we wouldn't be done with the debating any time soon lol.
About the girls... they ain't sluts, far from it, not even Lexi. I had a pretty hard time believing that too, but it's specifically mentioned in the story she never cheated on Lucas, despite how much of a shitty, neglectful BF he was. The other girls are not that different from her. They're not the most 'experienced' women when it comes to dicks and guys, but I imagine that feeling responsible for Lucas' death ruined all the interest they had in this topic prior to that disturbing event, accident or not. It's specifically stated they ain't no sluts, but it's also specifically stated and shown they ain't no saints either. You can see this in the second part, where their characters, except Maxine's, make a complete 180 for reasons that don't make any sense storywise, IMO. Looking at you Lexi and Ariana, you legit crazy, backtabbing cunts !!
It's no secret to any of their fans, or to anyone who played at least one of their games, that Inceton ain't exactly known for their storytelling, but this game started out as a promising project with an interesting premise, and I for one am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they can salvage this story and make it at least a good read with a few decent endings this time. We'll just have to wait and see if they actually deliver what they promised us.
For those who played the original version of ShackBang you know that the ending was what many, including myself, feel is one of the top three WORST endings in AVN history. (and I do have an opinion on what the other two would be, but that's for another thread on another day)

there's a download of ShackBang that claims it was updated 9/10/2024. They always promised to rework the ending - so did they finally do that?I've downloaded this "9/10/2024" update and have started playing it but I haven't got to the part where the gas station attendant reappears. (I'm being vague as to not introduce spoilers, also, that's the point that I personally think the original 'went-off-the-rails'. Before that point I was enjoying the title a lot - in fact perhaps that's why I was disgruntled went it went off the rails - because until the midpoint I thought it had a lot of potential and was quite enjoyable until that point. )
It has been a while since I played that "first half" but I think there have been some subtle differences. The second half is where I, for one, will really be able to tell if there's been adjustments/changes.

At least in the "original" the only sex scene between Lexi and the MC was the threesome scene. See my post made on 10/8/2024 for a brief explanation of the word "original" as used here.

, it says the remake is still in development, so if it really was finished and ready for release, it should've been updated there too, but they keep releasing other games, this one is their newest, where this story and its characters intertwine with the MCs of other Inceton stories for an all-out orgy, and now they made the Shackbang story about some Slender Man type creepy figure.To be honest, I was disappointed pretty badly again by the Passion on Display remake and its lackluster endings, and decided to keep my expectations as low as possible for this one after everything that happened in the story and that complete asspull of a plot 'twist' with Lexi, so I'm not holding my breath for this remake of a remake to be something soo good that's worth being impatient about its new release.
We'll just have to wait and see it how goes.
I suspect it's still this version, the one that's already available here on F95, and nothing new, cuz assuming they really did finish the remake of the previous remake (sounds funny asf to put it like this), our heroes will eventually post it here too. Again, we'll just have to wait patiently and see how it goes.
There IS a Lexi - MC solo sex scene, an anal scene too IIRC, but I couldn't get it on my own after trying a few times and used Sancho's Mod to replay it from its gallery there. Friendly advice tho, don't use UnRen to extract the renders cuz, for some reason, it won't work with the mod.

Thanks for the informative reply. Gonna have to figure out how to get to that Lexi scene as (when I force the actual story line out of my consciousness) scenes with Ariana or Lexi do trip my trigger. Perhaps that raw attraction is why I've continued to occasionally check up on this title.

Well strike that thought... My bad on Lexi. I should have said it's Ariana and Lydia that trip my trigger if I can put the story aside. Anyhow I'm going to play through this recent download long enough to see if it's actually been updated but after reading xXwankerXx insights I'm not holding my breath.

You and xXwankerXx are correct, no damn update. I just noticed in the lower right corner of the version I downloaded it said "Version 2023.30.07" so both Oppaiman's download site link for Shackbang and Inceton are full of sh*t on Shackbang. Don't know why Oppaiman's site says updated 09.10.2024, but its incorrect. Think you two are correct that hell will freeze over before Inceton makes good on their promise to rework the ending. I'll just have to go back to "visit" Ariana and Lydia every so often while completely and totally ignoring the story therein. If they weren't going to change the ending they darn well shouldn't have lied about it and said they would.

Just wanna say, this game has the worst second half of any game i ever played, adult or not, and the 3 finals are even worse. Dont bother to play. Its terrible.
