Was there an event I missed at the sakura tree hill just after the central "first" native boss?
I ask because building is locked at that location. Which is sad, wanted to build an outpost there.

Yes you can the offspring look even a little different if I remember correctly

How's that mountainous plateau after the laboratory exit? It's kind of isolated, but it's got a lot of empty space that could be good for building a decently sized village. Plus I've heard kids are born at higher levels further up north on the map.

I think my main concern would be difficulty getting water, but I think if I can get a decent amount of wells, it could be fine. Might also look for something closer to the map center. Maybe around the sakura tree if that's possible, or one of the hills around there.

I've built there before. There is a lot of space but all your raids are going to spawn on top of the nearby mountains and be difficult to deal with. I thought the big mountain on the far left of the area would act as a natural wall to make it easier to defend but no, enemies just walk right over it like its not there.

Good to know. I'm trying to find a place where I can get a lot of wide space to spread out a bit more and get some proper houses built. Preferably somewhere kinda grassy.

Plenty of flat-grassy places on the map. Try building your base just a little bit away from:

• The south side of the spider cave.
• The north side of the spider cave.
• East of the Underground Ruin (the 10 floors one)

You can set your main base in more areas. It all depends on how big you want your base to be.

Since you need to order your villagers to give birth you can make them follow you and also build an outpost in front of the Chaos cave in order to give birth... that said I haven't noticed a Level raise from children born in different areas of the map.
native villagers get higher leveled with more distance from the starting camp... tamed ones not.
The childrens Level seem to be dependent of the Parents Level... had a Level 1.000.000 Female and a Level 300 MC had a kid and it was Level 50... if the mother is below MCs Level the offspring has a lower Level.

You even get the different child if you take a regular impregnated Underground Woman, and then use the mandrake on her while she's pregnant. Once you tame Sadako, she will still be pregnant, and you'll get the enhanced underground child when she gives birth.

Also, does Yona not have to option to have sex with Young Men or DLC boys? Could have sworn I saw animations for it in the preview galleries.

right behind the Spider workbench recipe is the back entrance... though both mentioened areas are Forest areas, which means spiders and wolfes can spawn inside your base upon loading

That's not too much of a problem. I make all my (not large) female villagers survivors and most of my males are strong enough to fend off animals.

I'll scout out the area, see if I like it. The big plateau after the lab is super tempting because of all the empty space, but the fact that raids glitch out there is a downer.

Well I did say, a few pages back, that Ton has in fact posted. So I think we'll see a Ci-en update Monday/Tuesday (depending on where you are in the world). And then a week or so later a larger game update that will mainly focus on bringing the girls hanged on the native boss into the game as unique NPCs you can recruit.

Thanks for the info. I just tested this.
The game will checks whether the underground woman currently in her Sadako form during childbirth or not. If she was Sadako at the moment of birth, then her children will have Sadako powers.

Regarding the childrens; Appearance wise, regular and Sadako's child look exactly the same. The only difference is the combat ability;
Underground Woman's children will fight with bare hands. Meanwhile Sadako's children will fight with ESP/Magic.

Though it's quite interesting when they grew up:
Underground boy (regular) will become underground man with no notable abilities. Meanwhile underground boy (Sadako) will become underground man with ESP powers, and he'll fight with ESP/Magic. No difference in face/body appearance though.
Underground girl (regular) will grow into underground woman (no difference than the underground woman mobs). BUT underground girl (Sadako's child) when they grew up will have the default underground woman appearance, but with Sadako's animation, movement (floating) and abilities.
So if you want Sadako's powers with underground woman's appearance, this is the way to do it.
