Is it better to create one house with wooden beds or just many native tents and leaf beds spread all around an area? Does the bed even influence morale at all?
I seem to notice bed allocation is limited to the first house they see in their territory, so with lots of friends I'd have to get... creative with territory/food box/well placement.
Still trying to find a good way to scale a settlement with the territory limitations.

Efficiency wise, I believe a big house with a ton of leaf beds that don't block the path would be the "most efficient" - and if you don't have any space left in there, build a new house and those that don't fit in, you pick up and place again after, closer to the new house than the old one, so the new one gets registered. I believe that was how I did it initially going for "efficiency" (So not for looks, or similar, just masses of em all, if I even gave them homes and beds to begin with that is)

What I try/tend to do is build in in "chunks" so to speak, so one area that is for planting gets it's own house close, potentially on a platform with a well beneath it and food box with some rando as well, so I don't have to worry about the well blocking the paths - but if you just shove em in some corner it's usually good enough already and if you build compact enough, you can certainly have one well and foodbox supply 4 houses full of people with work scratching the outside of the ranges of it.

So, there certainly is a lot you can do, but getting creative on what you want to achieve is certainly the first step ("efficient" space-wise, or more decorative but bigger and such) and yes, you can get efficient spacing to look good, just more difficult to access certain chests or similar due to how close everything is to each other and decorations potentially being in the way of clicking and such (which is why i tend to have a house of my own with chests and everything I need there instead of scattered in the village)

Since you need to order your villagers to give birth you can make them follow you and also build an outpost in front of the Chaos cave in order to give birth... that said I haven't noticed a Level raise from children born in different areas of the map.
native villagers get higher leveled with more distance from the starting camp... tamed ones not.
The childrens Level seem to be dependent of the Parents Level... had a Level 1.000.000 Female and a Level 300 MC had a kid and it was Level 50... if the mother is below MCs Level the offspring has a lower Level.
Offspring level is supposed to scale according to how north of the map they are born (and slightly to the east/west), not by parents' level. Highest possible level should be around Level 75 on the island, but this can be gotten around by sailing north and putting the delivery bed on the raft. Northernwestmost and Northerneastmost point on the sea should give around Level 95, and going out beyond the boundaries of the map can give a maximum of 105, at least from what I heard last time on JP wikis/forums.

If two natives want to have sex but there aren't any beds nearby (inside or outside houses) to do the deed, they take a moral(e) hit.

If a native sleeps in a bed in a house until dawn, they gain a significant moral boost.

Not being able to sleep doesn't ding moral. You just forgo the bonus.

So if you can somehow make sure they don't suffer moral losses, you can forgo beds entirely...

I seem to notice bed allocation is limited to the first house they see in their territory, so with lots of friends I'd have to get... creative with territory/food box/well placement.

Turn off Allow Love under the NPC status, don't bother with buggy house assignments. Done.

This might not necessarily work if they have already formed relationships with lovers and hated rivals, so you want to turn off Allow Love as soon as possible except for a model native settlement you might want somewhere to watch more emergent/natural relationships.

But for Japanese black companies slave plantations resource production bases where you want to cram in as many people as possible in a limited area to maximize efficiency? Turn that HOT MESS OF A RELATIONSHIP SYSTEM off.

Quick and probably stupid question (cuz im new to this) can you edit Yona body proportions somehow? I found editor in main menu but it lets me only change hair style and body colour.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I'm pretty much in slavery corporate mode for now. I wasn't sure if disabling love straight-up disabled the mood debuff of the like-dislike song-and-dance, I'll definitely do that.

Not as much as you might wish, considering Yona (and Man) are used in a lot of animations which may or may not be compatible with all proportions.

The Pink Mirror (Pretty Workbench) allows to change Yona and Man's hairstyle, but you cannot change facepaint like you can with natives.

The Operating Table (Iron Workbench) will let you change Yona's eye shape, nose shape, eye shine style and skin color, but not her ear shape or breast size. On that workbench, Man can only change his nose shape and skin color.

Most of the non-native companions are fixed and cannot change hair, face or body.

Regular natives (Native man, Native woman, as well as their DLC version) can change most things. Non-regular natives (Large, Underground, as well as their DLC version) are more limited.

Just in case you're not aware, you don't really need a mod to make your house bigger. Lots of people, me included, just stack a couple stairs inside a house so you can get up over the back wall. Once you are out of the "box" you can make your house as big as you want. Just start with a platform on the top of the upper set of stairs and build out from there. A couple pages back you can see a couple links from me that show something of my house. It is of course much much bigger than what is shown. Behind are many large rooms for training, farming, resource gathering, crafting, storage, etc etc.
yes i seen that i was just wishing for a bigger house mod so i did not have to build the platforms everywhere as it gets tedious a bit for my really big interior ideas when i have to farm all the stone

That's not how it works though... I had Level 1.000.000 Large females give birth to girls next to the Chaos cave and to boys next to the ruins.. both had the same Level

It's been a long standing belief, but you are probably the only person who has ever tested it!

I just tested with a L4 Female Native and L1415957 (cheated for testing) Large Female Native. Spammed /preg and used a delivery bed built in the same spot each time.
Beach offspring: Max Level 4
South of ruins entrance (immediately outside the "build block" zone): Max Level 35
East of ruins entrance (near where the Treasure Hunters are fought): Max Level 40
East of native desert base: Max Level 64
Giant's garden: Max Level 75
Outside Chaos Cave entrance: Max level 74
North edge of ocean (straight north from the native desert base): Max Level 85
Northwestern-most edge of ocean: Max Level 96 (Large Female Native only got L94 max no matter how many times I spammed /preg and birth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Northwestern-most edge of map (glitched past the ocean boundary), right before the actual black edges where you'd fall forever: Max Level 103 (couldn't get 105)

All close in line with findings posted by other people on JP wikis. There is a bit of an RNG involved (like NPC villager and raider levels), so I did something like 3-8 tries each to get the "max" observable level. Both the L4 and L1415957 natives get very similar leveled offspring each time.

Seems like the Steam workshop for the game is down. Anyone know a good place to find mods otherwise? And are there any mods for things like clothes, or just items & NPCs?

Just noticed Ton (the developer) has now edited his work history (translated below). Looking at it, I'm really hoping we might get the dialogue editing feature with this next update.

For those curious:

// is not updated

■Added H
//Man x Hanged Blue-Haired Woman (Normal)
//Man x Hanged Blue-Haired Woman (Compulsory)
//Man x Hanged Pink-Haired Woman (Normal *2)
//Yona x Tall Young Man (Normal)

■Added
//Dialogue Change Feature
//Event for the Girl Hanged by the Boss Natives

■Fixes & Adjustments
//Visual Bug Fixes
//Adjusted the NPC's attack animation to continue to completion even if it loses its target during an attack.
//Fixed an issue where the outcome of boss battles would not be processed correctly.
//Added a limit to the number of attackers that increases with the protagonist's level.
//Fixed an issue where controls would not function properly when using befriended animals to create androids.
//Adjusted to disable game screen rendering during loading (reducing load load).

For those worrying about their native servants not getting along, there is always the option to do minor save editing. Its the one sort of 'cheating' I am fine with, since its technically possible to find a bunch of natives with similar personalities if you look hard enough, so you're not doing anything you can't normally do. Just not doing an absolute ton of searching for the right personalities. Probably just easier to shut off love, but then your cute harem doesn't enjoy themselves with each other.

Where's this from? Don't see it on the Ci-en page.

one thing about the game i would love to see though is more diversity on the characters and animations as well as more clothing options. would also love to see more places to put npcs to interact with them like the wall you can put them in and the toilet. wish i could figure out how to mod the game as i have many ideas for some mods but honestly even though i can read the code fine i always have a problem with figuring out how i should change or add to it to make good mods.

Devlog channel on Emade Plus' discord. Yui (the artist) posts progress on artwork/animations there while TON posts patch notes and upcoming updates.
Got a link to the Discord or is it private?

Same, I'd like some more clothing options that aren't holiday related, especially for the males. Would kinda like to see an outfit like the Hat boss has, or some sort of conquistador looking outfit.

Devs have a link to their Discord on their Ci-en website. Also on the "Emade Plus Official" website.

I'd have liked to just post the link directly but I'm leery these days after getting banned from another website for doing so (linked to an artist's social media post when attributing art) despite it not being against ToS there. AI moderation these days are too touchy and tend to flag people as spammers just because they post external links, especially if it's something social media related.

Thanks. Was able to find it on the Ci-en site. Now just hoping I can find somewhere with more mods.
