I remember noticing that we had very similar laptops. Mine though always goes crazy when I run the game. Definitely a videocard issue when I compare GPUs (mine is Intel UHD Graphics with only 4GB).I have a very old Gaming Laptop that should be consider as a Relic by "Modern Day PC Builders/Gamers" standard
DELL Inspiron 7559 with 1TB HDD + 1TB SSD + 16GB RAM
Not sure it's worth updating though as I'll likely need to change the laptop in the near future (been acting up a lot).
You can see a swimming pool I made with water blocks in the screenshot included in the linked post below.Has anyone managed to find a good use for the mermaid's water blocks? You can break a bit the hostile NPCs AI with them but I mean more visually. Whatever I do with them, they look ugly as sin...
But, like Shurutsue said, you'll have to build around it. Or, I suppose, you could always add it on a floor above, using stairs and platforms. Just know that they can be a bit trick to work with.
PROJECT ICARUS
PART 2
This will be a short one, but I've been meaning to post this for a while.
I sorta-kinda solved the "making walls in the sky" issue by using a second level of platforms to create something more akin to a railing. Mostly to avoid my NPCs falling to the sea once I start bringing them inOr, for that matter, me falling off when I'm running around LOL. Happened a couple of times TBH *coughs*
It doesn't look all that great, but it does the job until I figure out a better way of doing it.
And for those wondering why I don't just use walls, well... try using walls up in the sky and you'll get why. Damn things don't lock the way they should for some reason. It's buggy enough on land but it's much worse up there. Platforms OTOH snap just fine (though it does take a bit of getting used to to get it right). Go figure.
Oh, and Part 1 of this project is here for those who missed it.
And yes, I built a swimming pool in the sky(up on level 7).
