Hey people, looks like the next update has Yona's pregnancy finally being added. It's on the Ci-en site in case anyone is interested.
Its the #95 update.

It's in (Chinese?) so right click and select translate to read.

It's in Japanese. There is a trick to telling them apart. If it has simple letters like な or アイテム , it's Japanese. Chinese is made entirely from letters of doom like 問機能 or 訪問用 .

----------------

Also, it looks like there are some improvements for sharing worlds. Probably only people with Steam would be able to upload this way, but we would be able to download, I guess.

What's the best way to power level natives? Just put the native behind a wall of objects without durability and a bow and watch a movie while the game runs at 10x?

If you have access, the chaos cave and kill the Ent roots monsters there. They have the large EXP berries, which you can they use to level up NPCs

why some cheats don't work? like the status skill and running speed

I recommend the traditional game codes. Honestly, some websites tell you to use "/point Skill," but this is never mentioned in Japanese forums. Just use "/point ...." And that's it.

If you have 100 skill points, you will be given 10 points for the other skills.

Or you can choose the following "/run"

Hmm, after trying out the cheat menu, I have the problem that when I click, my character moves at the same time as I search for something.... Also, I don't really understand the character edit menu. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just... it's very... I don't know... weird?

I think I'm more used to simplistic things like character editors that you can find as RPG edit, Saveditor, or in games where there's already a program that you just put your file into and it lets you edit ALL the characters, or add items.

But the same thing happened: the program just disabled my ability to access the houses, as well as interact with characters I already have. I can't. They just stay in the background, with no possibility of interacting with clicks or using the "E" key.

I suppose the ideal way to use this cheat menu is that it is limited, even though it looks very detailed (I don't understand the command menu. When I try to repeat or do what it says, nothing happens. Some are functional, such as the one that repairs all structures).

The only way I managed to interact with one was through the missions to rescue your slave... only let me interact with the one I rescued. But with the others...

Well, I ended up ruining a pretty advanced game lol. But hey, I guess it worked for a lot of people, but personally, after getting so far... I didn't see the point. If you're looking for cheats, some are available on English websites, but others are in Japanese, and I haven't looked for any items that interest me in this cheat menu yet.

Two main methods:

1. XP berries.

The smallest XP berries can be gotten en masse from NPCs doing the Harvest job. The largest are gotten from Ent Roots in the Chaos Cave. Select the NPC and right-click on XP berries to use them on them.

2. XP share

NPC followers receive a portion of the XP you earn while they're in your party. Having them in your party while you're farming the Chaos Cave or Ruins dungeon will give them a decent chunk of XP over time.

This can be made much more quicker by clearing large raids (hundreds to thousands of raiders) with the NPC in your party. Make sure you're using a weapon with an AoE heavy attack like the Chaos Sword, Katana, Chaos Bow, or Cursed Hand.

Raider level should be set at the highest level you can still comfortably mow down in droves.

------------------------------------------------------------

A third option exists if the NPC has a reliable spammable AoE attack like Merry or the Giant. They can farm raider hordes directly by themselves and get much more XP than the XP share they get from you doing the kills.

Anyway, expect leveling to slow down to a crawl once you go over level 120. Can't really power level them past the hundreds. If you need ridiculously high level NPCs the best option is to capture them directly from high level raids using the Cursed Mirror Shield.

How does cursed mirror shield work? Cause I never used it, since I only play sporadically nowadays.
You equip it like any other shield. However...

1. It has a base block mitigation of 0%. So normal blocks do jack other than wasting the shield's durability. As a small consolation it can only lose up to half its max durability in a single hit, so you get one chance to fix the shield if it starts with over half durability. Just be careful of multihit moves like the Large Female Native's charge attack.

2. "Just Guarding" (AKA Perfect Block) with it will reflect the enemy's damage 100% as FAINT DAMAGE, and the shield itself will take ZERO durability damage.

So if you're good at perfect blocking, the shield lets you take down and capture any enemy that is susceptible to faint damage. Doesn't matter how high their level is, you'll reflect their damage (as faint damage) so your own stats don't even matter. Think even max level (level 999999) Large Female Natives can be taken down with 5 perfect blocks.

If you're not good with perfect blocking... well, just spam repair kits (hotkey it) and run into a house with a bed to recover lost lives. (Or stick a bed some place high or behind a wall and teleport-use it.) Just be wary of multihit moves that can break the shield before you can fix it, because oh boy, getting a replacement shield is a massive pain in the neck.

Thanks. Sounds like something I probably can use... kind of.

How does this interact with the reaper. I don't remember, but there was a comment that Reaper or his death servitude is one of the more lethal anti-raid NPCs to have in your team.

And also... wasn't it a pain in the ass since it's needs a level 10 ruin drop and getting the curse orb from Sadako and then go via Nanashi with the orb then combining the two at the Chao workbench to create it?

If that's the case. It's a definite pain in the ass.

They're immune to stun damage so they take 0 even on a perfect block.
(They take 1 red-bar damage from the regular Mirror Shield on a perfect block, so their damage reduction also applies there.)

If you're talking about the tamed versions of Reaper and his Servants on your team, then... well there was a brief period when they were totally OP when they were first introduced, but a quick patch later you only get the weakened versions of Death and Servants who lose their auras and have their damage significantly reduced to 999 and 444 respectively. Servants also lose most of their HP. Both of them still have some sort of funky damage reduction and reflection going on but it's much weaker than their original raid versions.

Still very strong against most enemies and the average raid with levels in the hundreds to thousands, but against max level raids... eh. The reflection effect is also red-bar damage only so they can't help capture enemies.

1. Level 5 Ruins drop for the normal Mirror Shield.

2. One Curse Orb to trade to Nanashi/Trader for the normal Cursed Shield. Which will require a Mandrake to "promote" an Underground Woman into Sadako to kill. Oh and this trade option is normally hidden unless you already have a Curse Orb in your inventory.

3. Then you need to have both shields and 20 Chaos Ore in your inventory. The crafting option for the Cursed Mirror Shield will show up under hand-crafting. (it's usually hidden) Combining is done by hand; no workbenches required.

It's an absolute PITA to figure it out if you aren't following a guide. Though you'll probably have the crafting materials lying around in the end game (from farming for golem Cores, plus mandrake farms AKA swamp excavation sites), so not too much of a PITA to craft your first shield if you know what you're doing. You're unlikely to have spare crafting materials lying around though so if you break the shield, oh boy... gotta farm them the hard way then. Or reload your save.

I have a question. Will the Natives continuously raid me if I have numerous dead bodies on display from said natives, or will they be more passive and leave me alone?
