I wonder what the difference would be between this and a Sand Cat that's been tamed. Seems like an odd choice:

Maybe just another variation of cat to have? Idk. I do love the sand cats, they're little monsters, and they do way more damage than their size would suggest. I have about eight of them running security at my base.

1. Rainbow Chest. 40 inventory spaces. Craft from the Pretty Workbench.

Actual best "container" is the Heart Closet though. 50 inventory spaces and much cheaper to craft. Though the closet isn't technically a "chest" and has collision unlike the Rainbow Chest.

2. Just build like usual. Need more lights though. And guards to deal with mob spawns, or stairs/platforms to build up higher to avoid them., Oh and if the raid target is inside a cave, the raid will just fail to start outright. This might or might not be desirable.

3. Moonlight Lamp. Craft from Cassie, a unique NPC you "rescue" from the Laboratory.

The Moonlight Lamp is expensive to craft though and requires a Core (drop from Ruins Level 5 golem boss) for each lamp. You might be better served by just spamming regular standing Torches as a cost-effective option.

1. an animal called ruck. upgrade it to maid ruck to have more space. u can bring it as additional backpack too
2. chaos storage. good amount space, can be connected to your workbench.
- How do you build a cave base (Using the South Mine in my case)
just a stone house and some people to do cook. doesnt need much defends because no raid gonna come there cmiiw. currently i had no point to make a base in a cave except to get something but i can just put flag there. i believe the mine doesnt give more chance to mine iron ore or gold ore when u put it in the cave cmiiw.
- Best lighting item?
Moon Light. Craft it with Cassie. u can adjust the light u wish and u can remove the light ball too, makes the light looks natural. need some time to farm it tho

Is there a way to passively gain high quality beef for steak dinners? Or do i have to just farm them the ole fashion way?

Kill the mini boss in the desert east of Nanashi's position. You will get at least 5 per kill, just do it 20 times. If you're strong enough, it will be over in 20 or fewer minutes.

No passive method to date.

Yes, that's the one. You get high-quality meat for a steak set. Bones for a certain quest as well.

It's the easiest and most stable way to get it without spending time looking for cows in the mountain.

they only take water from a well or the tank cassie can craft

So they ignore the rain catcher completely.

How do you get the new NPCs from the Native Boss?

Given how we already have a bunch of halloween and similar kinds of content, my mind at the mention of a cat immediately leaps at witches.

Hmm, after trying out the cheat menu, I have the problem that when I click, my character moves at the same time as I search for something.... Also, I don't really understand the character edit menu. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just... it's very... I don't know... weird?

Unfortunately that's something everybody deals with. Try pausing the game before you access it. The cheat mods a little temperamental as well. Sometimes you need to reload the game as it breaks itself. As in won't recognize the item you are trying to spawn.
