So is there a way to be able to start a higher difficulty run without having to beat the normal? I dont understand the stupid ideas some developers have, especially a decision like that to lock the difficulty behind having to replay the game multiple times.
You call it a stupid decision.
Beating it on Normal means you were able to tackle the challenges of the game and finish it, therefore you are rewarded with a harder difficulty if you wanted to challenge yourself. What's so stupid about that. Games have been doing it for decades.

Cause thats not respecting of your time. Why should i replay the same exact game with the same unchanging story i already know once again just cause i dont want to play a game thats so easy a 5 year old can beat it? Adult games but the difficulty is for 5 year olds.

It's the difference between a 'porn game', and a 'game with porn in it'. This is a 'porn game', so the emphasis is on easier game-play so players can enjoy the porn. You seem to want a 'game with porn in it', which emphasizes game-play and challenge and then rewards you with porn.

Wonder why asking a simple question about if you can start with higher difficulty offends you so much.

Sure, there is a tag for that called Nukige, which this game is not under.

I asked a simple question, you dont have an answer? Why engage?

It's an "Adult" game because it's smut. Adult does not equal difficulty. This game is for porn, not for challenge. Hard mode is an afterthought for those who, for some reason, actually care about the average so-so gameplay this has to offer. Genuinely dunno what you expected from a game like this.

Generally i asked a simple question not started a discussion. Also being adult or porn or whatever you wanna call it does not discard it being challenging. If it has an option to increase difficulty AT WILL, why is there such a problem of someone wanting it to be available from the start if it does not impact those who want the game to be easy?

Also why is it such a big problem to modern mentality people to not stick their noses where they dont belong, once again, i asked simple question not started a discussion. Is it so hard for the terminally online nowadays to either answer the question or not engage if they have nothing to say regarding the question?

I asked the question " So is there a way to be able to start a higher difficulty run without having to beat the normal? " you know the answer? Speak up. No? Why engage than? Do you have some need to be active in every topic even when its just constant derailing?

I don't agree with that argument, even though I do understand the rationale behind it. Still, I don't see the point of keeping difficulty levels away.

It feels much like a variant of some things that I myself hate: mandatory tutorial levels, and long prologue introes that can't be skipped.

In games like Zombie Girl, some outfits can only be obtained by completing certain difficulty levels. That, I do understand.

I asked a question, you jump in with no reply but some garbage offtopic cause the only thing interesting in your life is being a toxic little troll attacking other people on forums. The only 4 words in a dictionary of the woke generation kiddies like you is trigger, cancel, gaslight and manipulate. Maybe instead being terminally online go touch some grass and find some real friends.

Cant think of a point too, maybe other than the devs thinking that people who play their games are utterly stupid with two left hands. The fact that the devs think they need to gatekeep the other difficulties is kinda insulting, insinuating that the target audience would be unable to play it on higher difficulty.

Maybe you called it stupid?
You don't have any respect for the game or the dev and yet you want to be respected ? And also locking difficulty is a norm in some old games especially action games

i can think of one simple reason.
most people who play a game like that just want to beat it (pun intended).
so the norm is to encourage players to play the game and finish it. (check how many users ask for save, guide, gallery or something)
than there are those players that set the game on hard skip the tutorials and complain that the game is unbeatable or just quit.
for most game devs this is the worst case, if people dont want to play it.

by making the game on an intended difficulty, and hiding difficulties to progress helps you to avoid that and only the 1% HC Gamerz that need desperation to feel alive complain.

second reason: sometimes they change the enemies locations on higher difficulty and those require more skill to handle and give a fresh feeling to approach the game again with your current knowledge.

3rd reason: maybe it was an afterthought to implement higher difficulties and to not have to balance them, to be fine for newcomers, they declare the base difficulty basically a tutorial

Wrong, in Japan Eroge are considered on same level as normal games and are not created or viewed as porn. Nukige yes, but otherwise no.
