I'm of the opposite opinion. The harem end in games like this is like the final ending.
SUre if you have a favorite you can just focus on that character. But the harem end is like the one that ties all the others together and the ultimate achievement.
So I dislike it when games like this don't include it. You can think differently of course. I just wanted to voice my own opinion as well.

You do realise in many places it's quite possible to attach all kinds of bizarre conditions to your will right. A few of my relatives are presently wrestling with that sort of stuff actually, courtesy of a late and eccentric mother-in-law.
Not to mention this whole setup reeks of additional baggage you're not being told about up front.

Beyond the tax that needs to be taken out of it, there's almost always usually a caveat attached. It's generally not just "here's a fuckton a money."

Well, grandpa clearly says that MC doesn't inherit shit, he's just a manager, not an owner. At first, there are no mentions of any advantages for the protagonist, except "you can live here and get a regular salary, by the way, you are fired from your last job, so this is actually sort of blackmail, have fun you little piece of misery". Grandpa is kinda asshole, imo.

The game tries to make it so that Grandpa was an asshole to the MC to try and avoid the public thinking he actually loved him, but it doesn't change the fact that Grandpa was still an asshole.
I've inherited and would not say there were any real caveats. Unless you count taking care of property and pay taxes a caveat. That's assumed, you become a homeowner you take care of the home. But in this case he wouldn't even have to do that, cause he has an army of maids. But I suppose some people might have it worse so I jumped the gun maybe. Still, weird thing to criticize in a porn game imo. Most people IRL would not refuse the offer
Pretty sure most people IRL - or at least ones capable of thinking past the "wow prity gurlz serving me" part - would at the very least be cautious, all the more so as it doesn't exactly sound like Grandpa was the most honest and upstanding rich git around.
Dunno 'bout you but I for one would rather not get burned by the undeclared baggage of someone else's dodgy business.
