GamesMtP I have to ask... Are you truly satisfied with the ending of this visual novel? Does it really justify the countless years you’ve poured into creating this passion project (or work with monetary value) only to have it abruptly labeled as "COMPLETED"? Let’s consider a hypothetical scenario: imagine you finally get the girl of your dreams in your arms, ready to share an unforgettable night together. You've anticipated this moment, believing you both would savor the experience. But just as you’re on the verge of experiencing that ecstasy, you abruptly pull away, get dressed, and walk out without a word. Now, think about that scenario and how it compares to the conclusion of this visual novel... Doesn’t it feel similarly unfulfilled? Anyway, that's just the disappointment in me talking, can understand there are numerous devs abandoning their projects abruptly without saying a word and vanishing. But at least you gave this VN an END(the glass is half full at least right?).. so now, the regular dude in me wishes you good luck and hopes to see that act 2 someday sooner than later✌
hope this is not what really happens, i just found this game today & haven't even downloaded it yet

DON'T bother, I haven't played this or the last update, but given this wasn't even close to finished and the dev just got bored and ended it, it will no doubt be disappointing to everyone.

Even if the ending is not what some expected the journey is totally worth it! in my opinion.

Well, that was a let down. Beth was supposed to get preggo. A couple sex scenes and done. Not even scenes with all of the Li's. Some hardly have any. Maid to please ending, was maid to displease Wasn't even a real ending. That's one way to keep people away from playing your future vn's

What an absolute shitshow that was. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day is ruined. I'm not looking forward to any other games this Dev decides to create.

This ending is more like "introduction" to act 2. Hope it happens but dev probably lost all his enthusiasm due to lack of support. Money is always a powerful motivator. Unfortunately 3 years and only 100+ paid members is not a good numbers.

Wow what a shitty ending, the dev couldn't even do a epilogue or something, just ended where it was supposed to be a cliffhanger for the next update. It should have the abandoned tag instead, because it was abandoned.
Well thats disappointing, maybe we need a new label, in this case and in a few other lately, it doesnt feel like "completed" is a fitting description. Abandoned is reaaaly fitting either so maybe something like "rushed ending" or whatever lol
Im not even gonna play it, there is no way to wrap this story up in 4xx renders. If the dev ever decides to make a second part, i will do that. An "ending" like that kinda invalidates even the enjoyment i had prior to that even more when its just abruptly ends when the relationships are established which is quite common in the avn space.
Usually i suspect thats because quite a lot of devs lack the ability to write relationships and relationship developments but i think this dev here would have been able to do it so it probably some other reason.
I really makes you aware how _few_ devs exist in the avn space who complete their avns with the scope they intended and announced (and these few devs still get lots of hate despite that lol).
This was an avn with lots of potential but scrapped before it could reach any highs.
All that said and despite the fact that i would have my doubts about future avns of the same dev, its STILL way better to end it like this compared to other devs who lack the decency to announce it when their avn is over. He could have drawn it out and probably earned more money like that even with lacking updates.

If you go in to making AVN's purely for monetary reasons, then sure, most devs will be disappointed, but 100+ subs is more than some devs I know get, but they still work on their games for the love of making them.
Dropping a game just as it's getting really good and moving on to something else (especially if it annoys the supporters) will only give the developer a bad reputation, making people think they could just bail on the new project at any time, that certainly wouldn't give me confidence in supporting, but hey, do what you've gotta do I guess, but I feel this will have the opposite outcome of what they are hoping.
I stopped following this game after it dropped my favorite girl, looks like I maid the right decision

If this is really how the Story ends, i‘m not even slightly interested in any new project this dev is creating. If he is willing to sacrifice a Great AVN like this there is not a single doubt in my mind that he‘s going to treat his new Game the same way.

I still need to play the last 2 updates so not sure if I am gonna like it or not. But to be honest I was never too excited when the new project was announced prior to this update cycle. As it sounded like it was always gonna end without an ending just incase the dev wanted to go come back and finish this game properly.
Then I think I read some stuff about the new game that I wasn't a fan of especially since I didn't like the MC in this game all that much.

What I think is that the cop/revenge story ended where I had planned it to, but there is a lot more on the sexual side that could be done. Am I truly satisfied? Not really. I could have put another 2000 hours into it to fill it out with more sexual progress with the girls, more combinations, more of everything.
The people in here who say "dev got bored and gave it a quick ending" are not wrong. I've been working on MtP for four years as a hobby project, taking up much of my free time, and I feel a need to work on something else.
It's the easiest thing in the world to tell someone else they should spend 2-5 hours a day on something, then move on with your life. I respect the opinion of all the folks who think I should have kept going, but it's my time to invest, and I feel a need for something else. So I gave it the ending I had always planned, with the meeting of the real father and the reveal of two sisters (there's a joke in there tying back to the intro of the game). What I didn't do, and that many commenters here clearly think I should have, was put another year or two of work in between falling asleep with Beth and Chris, and going to the cemetery. I just lacked the motivation to invest that time.
It stopped being just a hobby project when you took peoples money for it.
The abandoned label would be more fitting than the completed tag. It is abandoned with the announcement it's abandoned.

You're not entirely wrong, but I've also been upfront for a long time now that it's ending this year. I work a full time job to support myself and work on MtP evenings/weekends and the money I've made roughly covers the assets/electricity bill for working on the game. To my mind, that's a hobby but I appreciate the hell out of everyone who supported the game. Cheers.
