See this is the only thing I don't understand about the story.

First it's made to seem like they are a couple, then Beth says they aren't and starts seeing MC on the quiet. Why keep it quiet when she's made it very clear she has no feelings for the dad and he practically says the same thing.

Then, to top it off, the dad says he's moving away and leaving Beth behind.

So for him to get angry at them fooling around would be pretty messed up

I enjoy the game but the whole dad, mc and Beth part of it is weird.

a great update (loved the miko entertainments, loved the beth date, there is story progression and turn of events). not sure I like the cliffhanger, but that's author's choice and privilege.

I guess it was the Status quo that she was his "GF", atleast publicly. since she is present when Jaz's Dad visits them.
The current relationship is in the transition stages of breaking up.
Making Beth sorta cheat on Dad who is that good does not feel good

They both say they aren't a couple, he kept her on as a companion. They have never had sex, never been an actual couple and never done anything remotely romantic.

There is no love there, both have said that.

And that is why we've been saying the story between MC, Dad and Beth makes no sense. Everything else, great, that part, massive plot hole.
