I tried Pure Onyx are it's really just fighting with (very good quality) animations. It bored me quite quickly tho. On the other hand, Malise has such a potential...

I actually wanted to message Eromancer (the creators), whether they will be willing to give the project to me, but i don't know how to contact them.
I'm not the dev themselves but I can be at least 99% sure that their answers are a flat [No].

They never made any official statement that they will completely drop or discard the project, what best we can find is that they keep MATM on indefinite hiatus until they finish their "Quick" project first. Precisely because it still has the potential and people still want them, means it's still very much milkable when they actually finish PO decades after and come back to this.

The best I can suggest is that you should start a similar project of your own without meddling with theirs. They would consider it intellectual property and will lead you both into an agreement or partnership that will benefit them more than yours.

Their work is not that big and famous to the point that countless people are constantly in demand for them, it's just a wasted potential in the hand of incompetents. If you have the idea and the energy to create something, it's best to make it completely your own instead of taking it from their dew.

Eromancer got a headstart because they made an actual good quality product and look promising. You can see by his patronage still hold its weight from those refusing to give up their faith despite years of shitstorm transpired, and if you're confident you can do the same or even better than them, it really is the best to make things from your very hands.

You will keep getting support, so long as you keep your targeted audience contented, and many of us would begin observing you with great interested if you actually do start one.

If you do, I would also suggest that it's best to start small and compacted or medium size so that you have something to prove, not the overly ambitious like theirs and get nothing done in the end.

That's right, the whole point is that Eromancer and him similar novice people (what in ordinary games in porn / ero) are incompetent from the word in general.
It's as if an ordinary person who knows absolutely nothing about how games are made, immediately took up a project like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or Fallout4.
P.S. - For example, for his same Pure Onyx, I have just a bunch of comments on mistakes and shortcomings for both the main character and opponents. He is unlikely to listen to my opinion, as well as many others.
I wonder how much he would have suffered with roller skates for Onyx, if there had been such a need to add them to the game? :KEK: :devilish:

Incompetent - maybe. As a novice dev myself - I understand that people are not too interested in playing trivial puzzle dress-up games, thou such games are easy to make. More than that - people are not interested in donating to such projects at all. As a novice developer I want my project to bring me enough income to make living and thrive from this income, making more games or better games or increase quality of what I'm doing.
Plus - one thing is to study game development/design/etc... the other thing - is to make games. Big companies has whole departments that research all kind of stuff, what people like, how they like it and etc... novice dev's - has no such luxury, so we make what are capable to make using resources and tools, that available for us.
Important! I'm not defending developer of MATM at all! From my point of view this team gained more resources in few month, than many developers won't make in a years, and even if whole team is lost(for example everyone say, that that had enough, and don't want to work with you anymore) - with this resources it's possible to replace all team, and continue to make project.

What I see in their activity now - they make game, that they are capable to do, and from what I see - they still receive impressive support, which means - they do good job, even if I may not like it.

That's the problem, they do a good job and their games both are high quality, the problem is they're doing the bare minimum to milk their supporters. That's what I find especially infuriating with them, they've shown they have what it takes to make one of the best H-game, and yet chose to do nothing.

i know im being an ass about this, but i don't feel like playing through a a dead game made by scamo-mancer.
anyone got a save of the latest version, or some kind of cheat i can have? or is there like...too little H-content to justify even playing?

The latest update of this game has no new CGs or battle fuck, only combat tests.
If you already played the alpha and beta ones, you have already seen them all.

Yeah, this was a scam. They spent years living off the money they got from Patreon because of this game without delivering anything (curiously enough the updates stopped exactly when their account changed from per update payment to per month payment), just recently they began a "side-project" which became the main project. I think that one actually gets updates... for now at least.

I wouldn't be so sure if those research teams are worth all that money. Just see the trash the AAAs are putting in nowadays. Microtransactions are a thing everybody knows gamers hate, and they keep shoving it into every single game they can. Who big now cares to make good games, they just want to milk the players and still believe that shoving woke content in it gonna make it sell, forgetting that those people aren't the ones who buy games in the first place. I'd trust much more in the gut feeling of a true gamer than all those teams paid in gold by AAAs. If you doubt it, just see Hollow Knight, one in a million, yes, but they didn't have a big team or much money.

See release date.
See how un-iterated the game still is.
See the game is listed "ABANDONED".
See that every other post is PEEVED the game was 100% dumped, with no changes ever again, despite promises upon promises, just to release a different game that itself has barely any changes made, once or twice a year.
And then..
You be the judge

the "side-project" is getting "updates".
tl;dr still the same scam. barely anything per month. reskinned animations etc. fresh new animations around 3-5 months interval.... no gameplay changes at all or story

like honestly tho, I've seen at most a few models they made for the game and that's about it, the actual gameplay of the "side project" is a generic sidescroller beat em up, with below average controls and almost no "content" in it considering the game is not even half as good as any MATM demo ever created.
it baffles me that people still say this is not a scam.

I patroned them for this game, I was blown away with the 3D rendering, promises and promotional content. It was all going well until Ero made an epic promise! It was all about outfits and some quick maths would mean the images needed for the game would majorly multiply. Dropped out and watched this game fade away.
