99% of porn games are poorly optimized, so there is a 99% chance that they will try milk your GPU and then..there is a 99% chance that they will burn your GPU,maybe whole PC...house...town.
Jokes aside..try some tool and lock/limit FPS or force VSync.
Looks like itch.io still have original version before rework.
I really liked the game and the animations.
One thing though: considering the many animations in the house, it would have been neat to get an "scene viewer" so you can see MalO in her different positions through the house. There's some rooms where I don't think I ever saw her despite playing all nights, so I don't know if it's just a case of (un)luck or if there actually wasn't any animation there.
Yea, uncapped framerate is usually what causes this. Go to your graphic card's control panel and force VSync and limit the framerate manually.

If you have a laptop, the game might also automatically select the integrated graphics settings, putting unnecessary strain on your CPU so make sure to select the dedicated GPU if your laptop has one.
EDIT: adding this here so I don't make another post but I hate the fact that there's no different graphics settings in this rework, just a generic "potato mode" which turns off EVERYTHING, all the effects! I don't wanna turn off everything, I just wanna disable the annoying

because it hurts my eyes. I hate it when devs do this, making the effects (and sometimes the texture quality too) be in an "all or nothing" button.

So I open the cheat section then close it,
Game removed all my save data....
Also if u ran out of power then the game remove the option to open the laptop.
But u can still open/use it by clicking S on the keyboard.

That's because it sucks and is a crutch for devs to lie to console owners about how bad games look at low frame rates

I'm not sure what the point of the cameras, audio recorder, or flashing does. The in-game hints say she will take down cameras and get more aggressive the more cameras are down...but she just doesn't do either. Flashing just makes her teleport immediately, while draining your power. She can even attack you while also being on camera somewhere else, so it's best to just be in your room and shut your door/curtains whenever she shows up in the hallway/out the window (it's very obvious when she does).
It seems like the only thing to do with the cameras is to see all her poses, but if you're just trying to complete the night then it's actually better to never open them a single time...which is boring since you won't see any action.

So. I finished rework version and it was kinda hard. Well. Record audio almost useless, when in Smilers Den audio alarm can tell when Smiler is came to camera, also you can just click all cameras and only check door, cuz MalO face can be seen in window and you can react to go to window and close curtains
