getting a crash i.e. can't start on windows 11. worked fine on win 10, tried compatibility mode win7/xp - no dice. Any advice?

Hot take: I really, really don't like how they added all the artificial pirate speak into the English translation. I played this in Japanese, and there's none of that, just normal conversation. The over the top pirate conversion actually makes it near impossible for me to fap to this, which sucks because the art and story is so good.

Wait, does Windows 11 break this game? I haven't heard of it breaking anything that worked on 10.

I couldn't launch it on win 11, just resulted in instant crash. Must be some unique Vanadis bug
Solution:
You need to update the locale emulator DLLs for Win11.
Get LoaderDLL.dll and LocaleEmulator.dll here:
You must be registered to see the links
And copy the 2 DLL files inside to your game folder.
It worked for me

I'll be honest, I prefer the Japanese version of this, because the English version added a bunch of fake pirate talk that is not in the original, and it's borderline annoying to me.
