I can't for the life of me trigger the start of the veronica progression. I bust her at 23:00, then go to sleep but nothing ever happens. What am I doing wrong?

Around 10:00 in the morning (not on weekends), when she is sitting alone at the dinner table, you have to go into the kitchen. Click on the coffee maker and make yourself a coffee. An event will follow and that is the start to trigger everything else.
