thanks. I checked your save and everything works fine on my side (v0.9.9). I would recommend to backup your save folder and delete everything related to MotH from you PC (including the folder in AppData (again)). Then re-extract the game on your desktop and try your save again.

That doesn't work either. So if save is ok and game is ok as well. Error must be on Operating system side. I tried to change monitor resolution and now it works. Than you for help.

1317x697 shortest distance traweling doesn't work
1024x768 works

Wow.. I was able to reproduce the issue with your first monitor resolution. Never thought that the resolution could cause this issue

I did that, but it didn't work for me, so I had to cheat a bit for that scene to trigger.

Did you download a new version of the game? Saves don't migrate automagically. Go to where you installed the previous version, grab the most recent save from the folder named (you'll never guess) /saves/, and copy it to the new location.
