The WebM codec did the trick. For all guys out there who have the problems with the animation and want to update just the necessary codec, just follow the instructions here in the section 'DirectShow Filters':

Thanks to both of you that fixed my problem.Guys, all the recent posts are making it hard to read correct solution.
Forget about the windows media pack (I'll remove the post), you need to update the codecs as mentioned, either the K Lite pack or the seperate webm codes (whatever you prefer).
