i got the latest version v0.7.6b (extra) and when i go to police station to get veronica out , i give the ID to police woman, then nothing .. i go home alone and the achievment for veronica locked-up is not complete!

Replace the file "mapping.xml" located in the main game folder.

You could try
- Change the graphics quality.
- Move the game to another location (preferably with write permission).
- Run as administrator (to force those permissions).
- Make sure your anti-virus software is not blocking it.
- Exclude the whole game folder and subfolders in your Antivirus

Don't know if the day matters, but what worked for me was Tuesday 15:00.
But I think any day at 15:00 should work.

That explains it, you can't give it to them until 0.7.5
Latest version available 0.7.6, you can download it from the OP, and once you do, just transfer the save folder from 0.7.4 to 0.7.6 and if you want you can replace the mapping.xml with the incest of the same file downloaded from the OP.
