I wouldn't know of a "special version". If you're referring to the "extra" in the OP, that's just the CG, i. e. graphics download, i. e. a couple of images without a game.

Unfortunately, no. This game doesn't have a console like Ren'Py. What does her hints say?

Not a lot as it seems.

sophia seems to be bugged for my save, she's disappeared from the hint bar at 25/20 stats
does anyone know a workaround?

Here is your fixed save back. Sophia's hints dropped off because the fashion contest flag was triggered, so I had to reset it back. Now her hints show up on the tracking bar, so you're good to go.
