I've been wondering what's the difference between the original version and the RenPy Remake version?
I'm also curious about the differences. I didn't like the second half of the original game when she goes undercover. It would be great if they got rid of that part and focused more on corruption at the police station.

Don't think there's gonna be an update anymore you can try Doshima port for Manila got till latest of content

Doshima for Renpy, and Abaddon for RPGM, but Phalzyr is abandoned.

Are you specifically asking about this abandoned version by Phalzyr, or are you referring to one of the other versions that is actually not abandoned (Doshima or Abaddon)?

It baffles me that with 3 versions, they would choose to play the abandoned version, then complain that it doesn't work. lolNot sure why it'd auto close on you it just a renpy game and last I messed with it no one had that issue... Something change in the upload since then?
I even have a link on main post pointing to Doshima's newer work

Okay, I'll play the Ren'Py first, because honestly I don't think RPGM mixes well with this kind of 3d art, it looks compatible with japanese cartoon style only. Also, Ren'Py will save me a lot of running around. But if I'll like the game, I will move on to the original game to see the rest of the story... Sigh.

I didn't have a clue this existed.
This isn't provided as a Ren'Py link at the original game, also this isn't showing in search results here on f95, if you search for "Manilla Shaw". How was I supposed to know of its existence?
Okay, so if I play the Doshima Ren'Py version, I don't need the RPGM original at all? Great!

Not sure why it doesn't show up when you search even just "Manila", because all three show up for me, and I have the abandoned thread "ignored", too. (and it baffles me how I even get notifications with it ignored lol)
