I see now, its because 4 = 4 horsemen in the apocalypse and 666 = hell 7 = number of sins . The hint is given by John Doe

good info but I had the first two parts easy, the 7 sin's never made sense to me.
I always though the number 666 was the number for the beast or I guess devil.
Hell that stuff throws me a curve anyway.. thanks for info though.

How to kill mason ? The only options are arrest him or give in ?

Kill Mason: The first time you meet him, choose: „Arrest him”, then „Surrender to pleasure”. When you meet him for the second time, choose: „Hold on and fight him” and then „Safetyy switch on”.

Wrong, you can't kill Mason . In the walkthrough you arrested him and then you kill his two pals Rick and Mark
In my game play I choose arrest and then surrender to pleasure the next time they met Manila just shot his arms , so hes not dead

Why do they have to fail you to chose the currupt one on meeting mason for second time and if you choose the justice one will you be you be rewarded with something?
You can only kill Mason at the last meeting, after you find the woman. you can arrest or surrender to him until then
