Dev recruited a coder so he can do what he love, renders (which is great tbh) if you're asking for news as in release date, eh that's a good one. Couple of months? I guess

The dev said on August 17th that he's "going away for a few weeks", though he said his PC is rendering a "big animation" while he's gone.
Let's face it : the game is dead. Or if it is not, it's dying at a slow pace since nearly a year.
To those who disagreee with me, I will ask this : Even if there is some update in the following weeks, do you really picture this game completed in the future ????
I would not argue against the Dev's personal issues. He said on his Discord that the Covid prevented him from continuing Man's Best Friend as he wanted. Sure, It's totally understandable.
But now that he should be able to continue the game, what happens ?
NOTHING.
On the discord again, when he should show that he's working on MBF, there's nothing except preview for King's Tales. Adultking only creates his short visual novels (called King's tales), and nothing else. And I will be the one who says it : they are really basic, not exciting at all, and lame in comparison with Man's best friend. Because they are short, they leave no place for expectation or building : girls jump at their dogs 1 minute after the start, they have sex, end. That's all.
What happened here is exactly what happens to almost 100% of Devs who try to make two things at the same time :none of their work are completed as their motivation jumps from one thing to another. And because they can't focus on one project, the trust players have in them progressively vanish.
It's been 9 months, 9 MONTHS DAMMIT, since the last update ! Dev can turn it as he wants and find the most exquisite excuses, but if he was still motivated on continuing MBF, we would have something to gnaw since then. And if he finds the time to do his King Tales, I think it's just unwillingness if he can't do the same thing with the game.
Plus, the story in the game is still at its introduction :
There is absolutely no interaction between the three main girls, and yet they are mother and daughters...
There is no pregnancy system when it is deemed to be one major fetish in the story, and one clearly promoted by Adultking since the start of the develoment.
There are literally no branches, no choices having a deep impact.
All of these things clearly give the feeling we are in front of a game done by someone who, right now, doesn't know where the story is going, and how he should put all his ideas together (that would explain why so many new girls are introduced, when the main focus should be the two daughters and the mother).

It pains me to say it, as I am (was ?) a big fan of this project. But by experience, I know when someone is motivated or not.
And yup, as always, followers don't want to rush the developer, to make him angry, etc...
But are they really sincere when they say, after 9 months without nothing : "Take your time, it's normal, no need to rush the game" ? Or are they doing that because they fear the dev could be angry and drop the game at their comments ?
As for me, in all honesty, I don't care. I prefer to be frank and express my true feelings toward this project.
Too bad, it really was a great game. Or at least, a start to something that could have been wonderful if a steady line of work was put into it.
You can now go with the negative comments about my rambling. I may be right, I may be wrong. But it is how I feel right now.

Chill bro thats just a porn game
. The dev has never concidered himself as a full time dev so its a hobby. He obviosly has his daily job besides other duties. Also the game always had onhold tag between updates there's nothing extraordinary for hobby game to have such long update periods.But even then he did his other game. It seem to me that somebody got salty cause his favourite bestiality game has not been updated "in time". You сant coerce dev working his game, but u can always unsub him.

Plus the dev has posted on forums previously that it is easier for him to quickly do a short one and done story for Kings Tale than finish off a longer more intricate story like MBF.Chill bro thats just a porn game

Adultking makes this game for you for free, he has done a lot of job here and this is not his real job for your pleasure only.
I am very eager too to see Sara being bred and pregnant as well as Zoey but we can all give a great thanks for the job already done.
Complaining like that is the best way to close the game.

It's completly fine for you to feel frustrated. I have no issues if people don't spread hatred towards the dev. Stating an opinion due the lack of updates is normal, the problem is that many people mix that with hatred towards devs as well asking ridiculous deadlines. They are humans as well.
Same way for those who don't bother to wait. I actually agree with you, but if people want to wait they have their right. I would be more frustrated if the dev gave a specific deadline, but he didn't. Sure that discourages me to follow the game, but again, I can't complain if he didn't give deadlines. Also, if the patrons accept that, who am I to talk about it.
Personally it's fine for devs to take their time. My main issue is the lack of comunication around here. I know and discord or other tools for patrons are different but yeah, at least for me it shows a bit of lack of interest in the project.
I'm pretty vocal when devs are straight lying and scaming patrons (looking at you ICSTOR and Irphaeus), but as I mentioned he didn't give deadlines and neither has the amount of patrons other people have. I understand the covid also didn't help, and going along maybe got him tired about the work, but personally it also removed my will to follow and support the project. But again, I have no ill thoughts towards the dev, it really seems a lack of interest and not a bag of false promises like some devs do. So yeah, at least on this one is more the lack of comunication than actual releases that are making me step back from this project.
