The dev needs to scrap the point and click room by room of the mansion and just make a map to where the girls are.

The house is way too big and every room and hallway looks the same.
You're making the game in Unity but you aren't flexing any of pros of working in Unity (like being an actual game engine).

This feels like a glorified ren'py project. But like also an empty Unity scene because none of the rooms are populated.

Suggestions:

- Cut the amount of rooms you have to like 1/4th the amount right now. Add rooms only if you really need them.

- Populate the rooms and hallways. Please, give me literally anything. It's like traversing the backrooms right now.

- Camera needs work. The camera positioning is everywhere. It is jarring when you go into one area, and then jump to the other side of the room. I'd suggest looking at film and seeing how they do their camera work. Look up the 180 degree rule.

- Stop doing this please:

It's really on the nose, but actively frustrating when it's an outright negative thing like lampshading how bad the navigation is. Yes, I noticed the houses in the beginning as well. Why are you using low Level of Detail models for screenshot renders. Use the one that has like 200k triangles so I can see the grain pattern on the wood from 50 Unity units away.

- Consider making this a true 3D game. You have a nice house asset. It's kind of a shame you don't get to use it in its entirety. I feel like you're trying to compromise by giving it so many rooms, but it ends up being extremely frustrating to navigate. Plus, the renders for the characters look really nice. It'd be even better if they were animated as well. Though you can still make the game 3D and still keep the screenshot visual novel style.

He credits him on his actual pages. The models are also public releases. Plus I'm glad someones doing something with the models anyway, I've only seen them used by scrag himself as giantess models which is a pity since I don't get off to that.

I started a new game as I am new to this game, but all I got were black screens and sometimes at the end of them before "scene changes" i would see what i was supposed to see, but overall just black screens.

EDIT: I changed the hearts from 240hz to 60hz in the game and now I see the images and not a black screen.

Dev might be an architect showcasing his lay out of the house lmao its annoyingly huge and spacious its unnecessary and empty. the viewpoint everytime you go to certain spot made it more confusing than it already is. like the pov sometimes its on eye level, the to the corner, then on to the ceiling then to an empty hallway corner with many doors :WutFace::WutFace:

Was the virus warning on old files true?
Or false positive?
I downloaded it, but Windows defender put it in quarantine. Then i forgot about it, but then i got another warning about the file again today.
So was it a virus or not?

These have got to be some of the best renders and smoothest animations I have ever seen in my years playing games like these dude, holy shit.

I can't wait to see more of this game.

Plus, I love the character of "Zoe", she hits so dead center on types of female characters I like, I really wanna see more of her.


but yeah, like a lot of people said, the layout is so weird and confusing... I felt like that video of squidward in the backrooms every time I had to do anything...

It's a prefab, I believe during development he didn't give it to someone to playtest (or not very many people); and when you're used to seeing the 3d model you know which way is what because you look at it all day.

Couple of playtesters to tell him to make it more navigable or add some sort of map would have helped. You learn the layout quick but it is BIG.

i agree i found it hard to find certain locations not even sure if i found my own room.
