Recently found this game and been pumping hours into it. Hats off to the dev! It's well on its way to be everything I've wished for in an adult game. I do have a couple questions though that I hope I could get clarified;

Paid vs Free version; I'm not at all opposed to pay for this game, especially if it gives me access to the capture slave mechanics, and the "Great House" mechanic sound intersting as well although I don't know anything about it. Would I need to continously pay 25$/month to keep access to this though? Because, although this is a promising game that I'd like to support, that's still too hefty for me. Assuming ~2 years until full release, that'd be 600$ to be part of essentially the early access beta/bugtesting phase. I guess what I'm asking is, since the previously mentioned method of paying 25 per month seems insane, am I missunderstanding something? Because I'd like to play the payed version, and I'd happily chuck 25$ into it, provided it's a lasting benefit and not a monthly subscription.
If you contribute $25 now you'd get the captured slaves a month and a half early or so, plus the opportunity to create a tier-4 character that will stay with you once you're back to playing the public releases again. You'd also have the tier-2 slave and quest but to get farther in it (there's an update in the pipeline now but it may be some months before its ready) you'd have to re-up for $5 at that point. In any case you keep the tier-2 slave.

Game Version; I'm assuming you'd have to restart the game entirely to play a newer version, or is there any way to load previous saves into a new version of the game?
I've been playing the same character since January through many different updates. Grimdark has said he has no intention of breaking anyone's save. You just download the newest version into your downloads file and load the save and it will be with the updated version.

Wife System; Just got my first wife last night, and I'm dreadfully disappointed so far though I don't know if I should be since I basically haven't played with her just yet. Is there any real benefits to this, or is it just a very early-on mechanic with minimal benefit/interraction right now? If I had actually trained the slave a whole lot more, mostly in intelligence and academics I suppose, will it get mildly beneficial? I kinda rushed to try it out, so my wife is just a slave with 92 Beauty (surgery until 85+new eden dress), like 50 in performance, 50 WP, 10corruption and nothing else really. Any suggestion based on how to feel wife being beneficial other than RP reasons, within the current version of the game?
I've not married yet, but I did 'prep' for one by training my prospective wife up first because I read complaints like yours that you couldn't train them much once married. I do believe I've read that Grimdark plans on expanding upon this but don't remember much in the way of specifics.

Corruption; Trying to counteract feminism in some characters lead to trying to figure out how to raise corruptions as high as possible. I saved/reloaded ~50 times and came to the conclusion that it really only increased with Vaginal sex orgasms and everything else was more or less useless. It seems very weird to me, and potentially bugged? Same like the "rough sex" option only shows up during seduction/request sex vaginal option and nothing else. I'm not finding anything else to raise corruption whatsoever.
Vaginal sex in bondage is one of the easiest and surest ways to raise corruption. Dildos work too, plus that can decrease their Feminism stat if that's another goal. Kissing Dominantly can raise corruption up to 20 as can seduction sex (no limit) which seems to raise corruption by 2-3 points the way I do it but I don't know the specifics (outside kissing Dominantly up to 20) of why it goes up that way. A session in the dungeon one day, and a seduction the next and back to the dungeon etc is generally the way I did it, but I raise their stamina first to 80-100 because Raanic foreplay just wipes out these little sluts.

Willpower; Really nothing seems to raise this. When I decided to wife a slave, I only did passionate sex and treated her as well as possible in every sense, gifts, dinner, movie theatre, market you name it. She still gained corruption (vaginal sex) and lost WP throughout the process, although not very much.
If willpower is a positive figure you can raise it consistently by 'Complimenting Intelligence.' If it's below zero you need to 'Encourage' first to get it back to positive.

Money; Currently I'm thinking that I try to min/max my days way too much, thus progress the game slowly. I currently have +250$/d static income, with the Aimee investment nearly maxed out and nothing else. I have 3 working prostitutes as Escorts, and one Oral only that net me about 850$ per time I run the prostitution ring. I also have a gladiatrix that fairly consistently beats the second toughest opponent, so about 1500$ per day on average. This still feels low, considering there are things that costs hundreds of thousands in the game. Is it just a grind, or am I missing some highly luctractive options? I'm assuming the slave capturing since I'm on free version. Mostly I'm wondering if there are more static income, like the Aimee one, that could generate serious revenue on its own.
There's numerous investment opportunities on the board. The Felton Gang, Falth, Gero, the Caravans available when you take out the Space Hulk in Kasey's Park, the other caravan that gets more profitable when you take out the Swampers, the Walton and Roo investments as well as some available through Ansel, Nicole and Caitlin's quests. The Walton and Roo investments are much bigger than Aimee's and cost 200k and 80k respectively and require something like 10k influence. I'm getting 1100 and 500/day with Rebecca's Skulduggery bonus for those two respectively. Gero you'll lose but it's a good gamble and Falth I blew away because it used to be the penalty was crippling but it might not be anymore as there's more positives now and the influence loss from Felton's is nothing so I go with that one too.

I found one wonderful thing from 'Legacy Edition' (introduction of Marital life with wife & kids). It was such a miserable experience for me that it healed my severe MoR-addiction for months! :) Never marry folks. Alimony sucks.

Ah, I mess up huh. Too bad I can't redo the dialogue or at least edit out in my save file.
IMHOP you didn't mess up at all. You acted like a gentleman and helped a lady in distress. Take her on your next run, if you like - and there is thing some well informed players (and GD, naturally) can tell about in case you really wish to gather Miss Winton's scalp during your current game-run. I think one minor detail change in your game-save should do the trick. Not sure, though. I never tried that one myself.

There's an easy fix as Tsap suggested - adding "$wintonsex: 1" in saveditor does the trick. There's currently just one scene (+the free sex relief) but a lite Velvet Room-like experience is planned before 0.8.4. ;)

How to get to the western side of map,it's not active yet. Is any quest tied to that area?
Rebecca and Caitlin's quests go over there for a little while, and you can hunt over there, but there's more coming in a planned update.

Pregnancy requires marriage? ... disappointing.. took me ages to figure that one out... (does the lube for a slave even matter with things this way? Nope..)
(is there multiple marriages? , Does the freezing aging option effect the slaves and master or only one of them?)

The wiki is sorely lacking information on many things.

One of my early playthroughs on 1st day my characterwho was highly manipulative got juno (umm !free slaves, hell yeah!) then bought Rebecca without knowing the advocate trait. Eventually, they raised all the other slaves' willpower to 100. I remember, one time I got pissed at Rebecca for their continuous denial to my advances and tried to deepthroat forcefully. That little nincompoop bit my junk so hard ,half of my health depleted instantly . I got that you're injured notification.

Heh, heh, heh, though I suppose it wasn't very funny for you!

I do know when I started this run as Rise to the Ashes and knew I had zero chance with her in the beginning I totally left her alone until I could get some Respect generated and some Charm from slut-cuddling Juno. I also didn't want her getting any of those random defiance points you can get if you click on them. First time I got anywhere I convinced her to take a shower with me, but the little bitch wouldn't let me touch her, I let it go. I knew I would win in the end, and it occurred to me remembering from previous runs what she can shout back at you when you're trying to whip her that Rebecca might just be a biter. I didn't expect it, but from other indications I knew it wasn't impossible. I guess now we know!

I'll reiterate my advice that the best way to deal with Rebecca is to be nice to her at first and don't force it. That corruption clock is ticking on her due to her bitchiness ('Malevolent' trait) so all you got to do is wait it out and she'll be your little bitch.

The Hit chance in melee is the MC's Melee skill minus the opponent's DEX, minus a dice roll; and then further modified by the enemy's armor (you get a +24 mod when attacking a duraplate wearer for instance), your Intelligence (INT 80+ always gives a +10 mod in melee/ranged) and some other conditions.

A critical success gives a +100 modification, so it's always a 4-5% chance to score a hit even if you're very bad at melee (or if the enemy is very dexterous).
So how much min dex needed wearing a duraplate armor attacted by ranged weapon(ranged 100max,),dice roll +-50 to completely dodge an attack? Is there any dex cap? I want to build a max dodge melee character.

Hey ya'll. I'm still having trouble with the Golden Seal quest. I've gotten to the part where I need to set up an ambush in Darkmere, but I see no option to set it up! I'm on the most recent tier II version of the game.

Yeah, you're not really setting up an ambush. Like Mahroni said, just go to the POI in Darkmere.

I wanted to like this game. I really did. But after spending almost a year in game, I'm done with it.

Biggest problem is that it is grindy as hell. Every stat is scored on a 1-100 scale, and they all move a single point at a time (with a few rare exceptions, and even then, not more than 3). To compound the glacial pace of stat grinding, is the fact that the game is awash in superfluous and needless stats. Your slaves have a Acrobatics, Dancing, and Performance skills. They have Academics and Science. Gardening and Domestic. Why? The game isn't interesting or dynamic enough to justify having 3 different skills for what all amounts to the same thing, which is being nimble in front of an audience. Academic and Science is almost worse, as they're effectively carbon copies that only matter for jobs at the Academy that are also effectively carbon copies of each other. Domestic and gardening being split means you can have slaves who can take care of literally everything around the house, except for the backyard (and vice versa). This applies to the player as well, with both an Artisan and a Blacksmithing skill to govern crafting. It's all just such a waste.

Combat is serviceable at best, and garbage at worst. Melee is pointless, as all it does is force you to waste a turn closing with the enemy before you can even attack, and the best melee weapon is comparable to a low-tier ranged weapon. Want to waste a whole turn closing the distance to hit an enemy for 26 damage without armor penetration using a Power Katana, or just shoot them for 30 damage on the first turn with armor penetration using a .30-06 rifle (which are also dirt common and easy to loot)? At best, once you figure out how to cheese the system, the combat is boring. At worse, it is stupidly broken and lacking in any tactical depth. The only strategy you need is focus fire, because all combat boils down to a 'how many actions do you have per round', and the easiest way to make sure the enemy has less is to focus fire them down one at a time. There are no attack types, no specials attacks or skills, no positioning (outside of the mandatory one for moving into melee range that further gimps their awful utility). The combat just isn't any fun to engage with, keeping in mind that I have had fun engaging with some janky assed combat systems in my time (e.g. I love the combat of the classic Fallout games).

Also, the Feral Charuck is just a Deviljho from Monster Hunter, and that inordinately annoys me.

Everything is a money sink. Everything. Everyone has a daily wage, or other upkeep costs that demand money and resources. Investing in Aimee's store takes tens of thousands of dollars, and what do you get after you've dumped the equivalent of multiple copies of top-tier weapons and armor worth of value on her shop? You get a passive income of *drumroll* $225 a day. This nonsense (even on the 'easiest' setting) is what made me use a save editor to drop a couple million into my funds, and trivialize all of the money grind. What do you have left when you're not trying to grind money to afford to pay your staff and build up enough to do shit like send your slaves into orbit (another 15K) for their personal quests? You're left with all the time in the world to focus on grinding up those stats, and even when money is no object, it is still obscene how long and boring it is to make progress. You see the same content repeated dozens upon dozens of times, and any novelty that it had is quickly lost among the deluge of grinding the same actions over and over again for those measly +1 stat gains.

Also, the shopkeeper Aimee is just Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, and that inordinately annoys me.

Another thing that is lost in all of the grinding is any uniqueness among the slaves. They look different, but you end up going through all the same motions with all of them. The only difference is how much of a grind is it to get them to where you want them to be. But once a slave is broken or close to it? They're all effectively identical. You just have to wade through yet another set of traits that are also gauged on a 0-100 scale that you need to deal with, but now most of them cannot reliably be altered. Now we're dealing with a 20% chance per orgasm during bondage to possibly get a +/-1 movement with something like the Vanilla trait. That's just what this stat grind needed, poor RNG. Now some of these are a spectrum, starting at 50 and having mutually opposed effects kick in if you hit 25 or 75. Unfortunately, there are quite a few traits here that could be folded into this spectrum scaling that aren't (e.g. Submissive and Dominant each having their own 0-100 trait), leaving you with a metric fuck-ton of stats to deal with. But ultimately, outside of the little you might get from a slave's personal quest, they have zero distinctive personality. Once you start breaking them down, they all say the same things during sex; they're all just palette swaps (and a few of them are incomplete palette swaps, with lots of missing images for various interactions).

I didn't feel like I was roleplaying a character. I felt like I was trapped in a boring 9 to 5 soulless office cubicle job.

So unless you're up for an obscene grind to get anything done, and you're really into the same rote bondage roleplay playing over and over again (or you're really into sadism), there's just not anything here I can recommend. There are other erotic RPG's with much better combat, far better characters, and way better sex scenes. The only thing that makes this game kinda standout is the premise, which it largely fails to deliver on and still takes a mountain of grind to reach regardless. If the grind wasn't so bad, it would be serviceable for those who really get into these kinks. But as is? It's an insulting waste of time to reach what mediocre content it does have. The game isn't bad per se, it just absolutely is not worth the time sink needed to see any of it.
