Try going to the taveren near your house after 6pm.... if you pay for survicess of the slave a few times and talk with her each time she opens up new qust with you... i got 3 or 4 from her but its random chance if you get qust info or not... and one of them takes you visiting her 3 or 4 times in it self.

I hadn't really read her note or anything about the case so I went back and re-did it and paid attention this time and also saw the 'have mercy' option and thus heard his side of the story. However I just noticed that his bounty was $1200 and the gold bars are only worth $950 so even without the veritable gold mine the bug Purski discovered amounts to you're still losing $250 by picking the 'show mercy' option and then being magnanimous about it. Now if that $250 were the difference between, say, getting you all combat armor by the end of the first day I might not be as interested in his side of the story myself. I can't verify it and the town pays good money and in a grimdark setting being a 'heartless fiend' is kind of the norm, is it not?
I cracked up when I saw the 'rob children' option. I'm like....'Really? Who does that? C'mon!' It does help set the scene though, a grim dystopia where none of the 'rules' apply.
I wondered about that with 'Headkillers Crew' and thus the first few times I took the easy option there and let them live. However after having played those games a fair bit longer, nothing seemed to happen with them and I didn't see any way to bring it up with Roo.
