Now hear this: I would recommend this game, but: I played this years ago. When I restarted a NEW game three days ago, there was no saved game, though I remembered much of it. After playing almost two days in a row on the new release, I closed the browser with seven new saves, expecting no problems to start where I left off. That did not happen. When I reopened the game, it had saves from 2022 (apparently the last time I had played it). I tried to replay from there, disappointed, closed it opened the history on that browser, but no saved games. I went to the comments and found other people had similar experiences. Only one suggestion seems to make sense. Save a copy on your pc disk or portable memory... I was so angry the bodies were hitting the floor and blood was flowing (figuratively), I deleted the game, and may wait till the next release to reconsider. So IMPORTANT, it may be because of using the cheats which I used because there is a mild grind, trying to get enough money to rebuild your crumbling mansion, you need the cash. Later I added some of the other, as I had little to no success reviving the business the MC's brother had with the initial purchases or captures. Especially if your trying to make the reputation the game story requires... So suggestion to the Dev: ease up on the grind, we know its a deteriorating world with lost contact with the gateways to home planet. We know there is area competition and competition power plays within the local structure so things are not expected to be simple. But, I have degrees in finance, and economics to the master level, and other degrees in electronics engineering. So, management of resources experience in military industrial complex at management level too. I know how to schedule, coordinate departments, examine forensically accounting records... The game is not on par with expectations in that field. But I enjoy it, I like combat, and rewards systems, and the management. It needed the cheats maybe not to that level, but the saves should work, non-the-less. I would highly recommend your game, but you do not want to piss off the beast when they pay for your games on steam or wherever you plan to take this. Fix the save system, with and without the cheaters in mind. Believe me, they will come back and play it again after the purchase if you take care of them. Its like my libraries of good hard back books, you wait a period and then reopen and read them again. Thanks, that is all. Now sweepers man your brooms, hold a clean sweep down, fore and aft...

Ooops, one more suggestion, when I repaired and upgraded the rooms in the mansion, it always said there were no occupants in those rooms. I go to the basement and find a barracks like area where I guess the MC's henchmen and slaves... householders stay. I would expect with the design saying when occupied those areas improve the attitude and loyalty of the householders... The DEV should include a method to designate as a reward and loyalty system which henchmen, guards and householders are to occupy those rooms. I remember on the old saved game I could assign people to guard the property, it helped prevent the orphans or bandits from breaking in to steal resources including food. This time I saw no option, maybe from the cheats? I went bigtime into the moon religion thing, and preached indoctrinated the householled using all followers trying to get them all into the same religion expecting some benefit with common denominators. What I observed was a + in those with it, and a minus of those observing the alternative religions. So looking at the others, would watch to see if they headed to zero and then + up into the Moon thing. That was also less than satisfying (domination of will sort of play).

You build rooms, then you need to assign people to those rooms.
It appears you havent found out where to assign people to rooms / jobs yet.
The rooms tell you how much / and what they add to the person assigned to the room.
The guard tower can also be used as a room for guards if you likewise assign them to that job.

Interesting now please address: 1) where do you go to assign people to a room. 2) I do not remember a guard tower in the new version. Is that a room in the Mansion or do you build it in the Yard? I had not deleted the junk pile yet, maybe it offers to go there?

NPC menu - select character - houserules 1st page, "sleep" tab.

Manage yard - red roof to the left.

And there's an option to save the game into a standalone disk file, it's at the bottom of the save list. It goes into whatever directory is set for browser downloads.

What is the cheapest and most efficient way to raise affection of a male slave? I captured the not-Hendrix guy, and he hates my guts. Can't even compliment his guitar playing skills

Haven't done the math on "cheapest", but if they're angry, taking slaves to a diner has a chance to give +2 affection & happiness, which will also lower anger by 1, also another +1 from joking successfully. Assign them to a room for a daily +1 affection (once not angry, up to friendly). Allow them to use floor crawlers (and have some girls assigned as crawlers). Giving chocolate bars/candy bowls has a chance to give affection up to neutral-ish, and another separate chance if they have Oral Fixation.

Question, what is the best build for this game interm of combat for endgame, because I have high Dex, like 150 and those enemies still can hit you. Is it better for high Dex or is it better if go with high health pool?

Any progress on this?
yes but the new update makes it pointless to finish.

It is a slow process because I can't just do a find and replace. Unless you want a newly minted female character talking about his penis. So I have to find their events and dialogue for each previously male mercenary, Change any narrative sex based descriptions, pronouns and talk about genitals and convert them to female. It is not a quick automated change. And because the tweaks are tied to edits of the HTML file specific to the version of the game any time the html is changed all the work becomes obsolete.

Just buy WEGA or HULC armor and max out your strength and stamina.

Any enemy that is strong enough to seriously damage you through those is probably going to hit you anyways.

The way to win combats in this game is to kill enemies first.

I'm completely lost, love the game but was away for a few updates. Never understood the nursery before but now it's turned into do my head in bigtime and the wiki ...nothing
Problem number 1: You have way too many kids. Speed up the Nursery Aging in page 2 of game settings to cycle them faster. Hire more or better nannies and make sure they have no jobs and they are not followers when midnight hits.

Click the (i) button next to the nanny title in Jobs and Titles to check your individual nanny's skill. Free Thinking has a display bug where it seems to always say +0 but, in the nursery room, Free Thinking stat increases.

Screenshot 2025-04-28 174458.png
As for the rest of the nursery mechanics, this is how stat inheritance works:

Inheritance:
  • Intelligence: the child inherits the mother's intelligence directly.
    • Modifiers to Intelligence is 3/6 chance of +5, 1/6 chance of +0, 1/6 chance of -5, and 1/6 chance of +10.
    • If MC has Brainy trait, +5 to cap. If MC has 130+ INT, +5 to cap. It seems that Brainy activates again so another +5 to cap.
  • Beauty: the child inherits the mother's base Beauty, that is Beauty without the clothes, perfume, necklace, or piercing effects. Surgery beauty can be inherited. So Lovisa with 60 Beauty will start with a base 60 beauty kid, no matter if she is wearing New Eden gown or Embryl necklace. Lovisa after surgery with 85 beauty will start with a base 85 beauty kid. If you have a random NPC who came with 130 Beauty naturally, your kid will have a base 130 Beauty.
    • Modifiers to Beauty is 1/10 chance for +10, 1/10 chance for -10, 1/10 chance for +6, 1/10 chance for -5, 2/10 chance for +5, 4/10 chance for +0.
    • If MC has Attractive trait, 1/8 chance for +10, 2/8 chance for +5, 4/8 chance of +0, 1/8 chance of +6.
  • Body type: girls inherit their mother's current body type (not sure if this one is actually functioning).
    • Boys roll 2/3 chance for normal body type (body type 6) and 1/3 chance of muscular body type (body type 7).
    • If the MC has Mountain Man trait, +1 to body type. So a normal body type is 6, +1, it is 7, so the kid is now Muscular. If the kid is muscular, 7, +1, 8, the kid is now Herculean (body type 8). A 1/3 chance of being Herculean.
    • If the MC STR is 130+, +1 to body type. A body type 6 kid will have a total of +2 with both Mountain Man MC and MC STR 130+ so he is guaranteed Herculean. There is no body type 9, so a kid with a total of 9 is still Herculean.
  • Religion: the kid inherits the religion of the MC. Devotion is between 0 to 15
As for traits, your kids can take almost every non-unique trait in this game, including Crackshot and Berserker. You enter a mini character creation menu when processing your kid. You can change his/her portrait. Click <- -> to see your options on traits and to move between stats menu.
What is the cheapest and most efficient way to raise affection of a male slave?
Cheapest is pool parties in your Gazebo with the pool upgrade. It is a household wide +1 increase for cheap but it caps at Loving. Slow but it is cheap. Arrange Events ---> Dinner with maids assigned is faster at +2 to +3 per day and it is uncapped, but it has minor skill checks and you cannot expect to assign only two maids to serve dinner to 50 NPCs and still gain an Affection from the NPCs for the inadequate service.

It is a browser based game. Saves are stored in your browser cache. If you clear your browser cache, your saves go poof. If you changed browser profile, the save is in the other profile. If you use a separate browser, your save is in that browser. If you used guest tab or incognito tab, your save is gone the moment you close the browser. Save to Disk to keep a copy in your disk.
Later I added some of the other, as I had little to no success reviving the business the MC's brother had with the initial purchases or captures. Especially if your trying to make the reputation the game story requires... For money, you can get a workshop in 30 days or less.

Stats would be the real grind.
I remember on the old saved game I could assign people to guard the property
You can. NPC Menu ---> Jobs and Titles ---> Guard/Captain of the Guard. Make sure they are not active followers at midnight so when midnight calculations go off, they can gain appropriate stats and do their guard duty.

Unfortunately. I mean, 150 DEX can still offer some protection since some of the most dangerous melee enemies (and one ranged one) can still miss. The problem is that to reliably dodge all of the melee attacks from almost all powerful melee enemies, you need 300 DEX after armor demerits calculation. At 300 DEX, the Terror, the Palace Warmaster, and the Dengi King literally cannot hit you, but you cannot get 300 DEX as far as I can see in the current version.

I made an incest patch for the most recent A18b early alpha update. This was my first attempt, and it was kind of a pain in the ass, but I think I got the job done pretty well

The incest seems flawless, and you can even have a threesome with Lovisa and her sister Tori :sneaky:

Although, there may be other stuff I might have overlooked or something, in which case, let me know.

Okay, so I did overlook a few things. Most notably, not being able to take your child to the bathroom (Don't know how I missed that lol). Fixed in new link, enjoy :D

Therefore, the game has been updated, and we sincerely look forward to your new patch. ;)

For money you can get a workshop in 2 days, or 3.

There are a bank. Ask for a loan. Usually I get my workshop working at day 2 or day 3 the latest
Exactly how many workers do you have working there that early?

And the loan doesn't really cover the upgrades, needed to boost prodictivity.

It can't be very profitable on day 3.

Clemency is saying no matter what value I set for Strength and Stamina the Current Health of the Follower will always reset to 100, since the script I'm using doesn't change the value of the Temp Health for those followers...... I've search all over and I cannot find a Variable called temphealth for any NPC..... And as I mentioned before I did change Strength and Stamina equally; this will effect the follower's Maxhealth, but not current health. Current health always resets to 100 after: change of screen or function.

This is why I'm asking what variables effect the Temp health of the Followers. Or is there a script to make sure that this Temp Health does not effect the follower's Current health. Not Max health. Because as I see it there are 2 separate Variables called "Health" and "MaxHealth" for NPC's, but changing that means they will reset back to the default values from before the modifications.
Remove this line from your script
SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc[fullstring].toughness = 100

Because it is resetting your max health value to 100 AFTER strength and stamina changes were applied. Then current health was set to 100 because it exceeded max health.

Current health is just
SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc[fullstring].health = 100

If you didn't delete the saves by accident they should still be there (unless you were using incognito...)

Make sure you are using the same browser and browser profile as before, because they store saves separately.

Master of Raana's open-world approach allows you to do decide the continuation of that saga; live as a quiet factory worker, a thrill-seeking adventurer, a scavenger, an academy master, a famous arena champion or anything in between.
I call bullshit. How much non-slaver content is there really?

An interesting question. You have to be a slaver on paper. You can simply exploit this "trust" though the meantime. You can free your slaves. In fact, you can push the abolition idea across the system and rise up against it in a genuine revolution to declare a democracy.

But the at the start you are born into a slave holding feudal society whether you like it or not.

Most content will touch the issue of slavery because it is present in everyday life, the legal system deals with. But if you ask if you genuinely can do without?
Yeah. You are a property owning minor nobility type. You can provide work, opportunities, safety to people. You free your slaves into paid servants. They can be your friends. Lovers. Best buds. You can be a shining beacon of hope for a better future if you wanna.
