Does anyone know how to make the npc increase his own religion?
As a newbie myself trying to get to grips with everything, my understanding is:

If they are not your religion I think one way is that you will need to make an educator of another NPC of the same religion that has a higher stat and get them to homeschool them. Not sure if Catholic NPC females increase in Abbey as haven't enrolled any yet.

If they are of your religion, open the shrine plus upgrade symbols and shrine and pray, NPC of your religion will join.

I get what you mean, and that can be a flavourful interpretation to reconcile it, but I was talking about the little speech bit at the bottom of the trait description where it is
(Character Name): You know what they say, a real warrior carves his success with a sword, straight through the flesh of his enemies!

Which is a bit harder to reconcile with a pacifist worldview, especially with how the trait is written and treats it.
But yeah, I can see how it could make sense, certainly.
It's just a brief flavor text and not necessarily meant to fit every combinations of traits. What's important for the traits is what they provide. I think that the expectations that I see here and on the discord of Grim are a little extreme sometimes as everyone expects perfection and not only is that not possible, but trying to make it so can ruin the game as it can't be all things to all people.

I had forgotten that one of the educator's topics was religion, thanks. They can also learn some traits if the educator has them, right?

npc will randomly gain -2 to +2 devotions daily. (any religion)
low willpower (4 or less) will randomly give -1 devotion. (this cap is 10)

spiritual educator have a chance to increase/decrease (-1/+1) pupils devotion depending on their religion. (from my personal experience, this effect is almost negligible and will be countered most of the time by the natural daily devotion gain).

spiritual educator will attempt to convert pupil to their religion if pupil's devotion is less than 15.

player can increase/decrease (-1/+1 x sessions)npc devotion by lecturing inside the temple.

^ all these effects stacks.

best religion for NPC is Red Tide (according to my biased view :KEK:)

I appreciate what your saying, but it feels like we are drifting far from my actual stance?
I am not demanding perfection from the devs or anything, I am just sympathetic to the idea that, with the flavour and mechanics as they are, it doesn't make too much sense to generate a character as both pacifist and brawler, I even conceded that with a bit of flavouring or headcanon-ing that Clemency's explanation would be a good way of explaining and reconciling it.
Acknowledging it as a bit of a weird combo is not me demanding the devs 'fix' it, or even that it is any kind of priority or really a massive problem beyond the level of "Does having both these traits on one character make sense level" which is always a struggle for randomly generated characters no matter what.

Which is to say, I agree in principle with what you are saying, but bringing it up in the context of that convo feels like a bit of an overreaction?

Both sell Aria and support Aria paths now have some exclusive NPCs available to them, so it's more of a choice. Dunno about future plans possibly making those NPCs available in some other way.

Other than that there are differences here and there, though IMO only the NPCs matter.

ho and if you support Aria, where can you get Bofors?
You can earn war supply points, during the Dengi invasion for example, which you can trade in for the BOFORS, among other things.

It doesn't make much sense that you can manufacture plasma rifles, coil guns, ARs.....etc

but you can't manufacture fasteners in your high-tech mechanized workshop :WaitWhat:

there's a war going on people we need guns

... what do you lose if you sell Aria?, ...
If I sell Aria I lose a huge heap of the best current game content, dozen tasty (and some not so tasty) scandals and political events, some possibly valuable slaves and other stuff I think as quite nice to have.
My MC loses - just for an example - the greatest and so far most challenging fight of his life, a powerful chancellor as a wife (in case he'd win the fight and chooses her for his wife), some grand (but not necessarily too important really) titles, some fame, a certain statue in his garden and many other pretty valuable things.

Is there an upper limit on how fat you can get an NPC?

I've managed to feed a young lady called Chey up to 216kg (476 pounds, 34 stone). Wikipedia says the fattest person ever was 635 kg (1,400 lb or or 100 stone) so I have a way to go yet before I hit truly uncharted territory.

Her modifier for Stamina training sessions is already close to 10,000.
