I probably should have made that a setting you can change/toggle off. In the early game, with the "Old Menu Arrows" setting on the reverse add order feature might be annoying. I like it later when you have many NPCs already organized, so new NPC you get/capture don't get mix up with the others until you move their slot yourself.

Also, being in reverse order new NPCs can be located a bit easier/quicker since they should be on the last page, if you have been organizing and moving them (i recommend "Old Menu Arrows" off in settings). I also recommend the json.err Expansion Mod, since it makes moving the NPCs better, among other features.

It's true that the Wiki contains most of the information you need, but I can't find a confirmation that Emancipation is raised by *uncorrupted* npcs with the Advocate trait. How does corruption factor in, is it a modifier or a threshold? I rasied all my girls' corruption to 50+ to whore them out, does that explain why I have 5 girls with the advocate trait, but only 20 Emancipation?

Also Emancipation could be low because NPCs "consume" those household stats, so to increase it quickly you might need more Advocates than you think, or you simply should host pro-willpower lectures at the shrine.

oh, sorry. i discovered this game 3 days ago.
i started a new game, added an npc to the household, game shows it at the 8th page with previous 7 empty, then i upgraded dorms, the very next npc showed at the page 12 after several empty pages, then i've built annex, and npc start to appear on the 16th page. it made the whole npc management system even more frustrating.
i didnt know about "old menu arrows", thank you, much more convenient. but they could name this option "npc list style: arrows/page numbers".
also thank you, i'll try this mod, but since i'm playing on a tablet, it may be non-usable, but i'll definitely try it a bit later. quickedit app doesnt work well with 20mb files.

Since you are new, if you don't know already, you can change the NPC slot in the game by selecting NPC Menu -> select the NPC -> Actions -> Move. If you use the Expansion Mod, you can just drag the NPC to other slots on the new side menu/grid.

okay, I did a really quick small update for the Tier 4 Debug version to make the NPC reverse slots an option in the game settings (off by default). Let me know if something went wrong. File is in the original post.

There is a game option to freeze mc age.

But I noticed that even with max Affection and 20 Respect (I use her in my party so that's slowly building up), her Disposition is still not enough to have her tell me everything she can about her background. Do we really need to break NPC's willpower and instill fear in order to squeeze every little dirty secret from their past?

You shouldn't need to lower willpower at all to ask about NPC backgrounds. You probably need to advance her quest or something.

My go to place is the park next to the orphanage. You may have to refresh a couple times but there can be up to 3 bandit parties there to take prisoners from.
